Rise In Power The Jesus Way and Try Something You’ve Never Done Before Simply Because You Believe
2026-02-02 I woke this morning with a single unshakable word: I am separating the wheat from the tares. This is a now word—an invitation and a demand—that you wake up to who you are and begin to act like it. I’m speaking to you directly: you were made in God’s image and likeness, given authority and a voice. The call today is simple and urgent: open your mouth, break agreement with what has been holding you, and start doing what you’ve never done—simply because you believe.
Identity first: you are made in God’s image
You are not a random accident. The scripture says you were spoken into being. The Lord said, “Light be,” and light came. When God spoke you into existence, he also gave you the same capacity to speak into your darkness. That means every time you declare truth over your life you are participating in the creative power of God.
Too many Christians have been taught to depend on a leader to do the spiritual heavy lifting for them. That creates paralysis. The remedy is simple: receive your identity, and then act on it. If you truly believe you’ve been made in God’s image, your mouth becomes an instrument of authority. When you speak, it’s as if God himself spoke.
Faith is doing, not just believing in the mind
Faith is an unshakable trust that leads to obedience before the evidence appears. There is a difference between intellectual belief and a faith that moves you to act. Jesus said, “If you really believe, nothing will be impossible for you.” That is not hyperbole. It’s an operational reality.

Examples from Scripture show the pattern: Ezekiel was instructed to speak to dry bones. Jesus fed five thousand by blessing, breaking, and distributing five loaves and two fish. The miracle happened when people obeyed and moved in faith—not before. Your obedience unlocks multiplication.
How to exercise the authority you already carry
Here are practical steps you can start using today. These are taught from Scripture and made practical from real encounters I’ve had with people who were stuck until they spoke.
- Identify the spirit or pattern — name it: fear, addiction, depression, anxiety. The New Testament calls many of these demonic spirits.
- Use your voice — command it to go. A simple, decisive “No” in the name of Jesus will stop its advance when you mean it. The authority belongs to you.
- Bind and loose — declare scripture: read and apply 2 Timothy 1:7 aloud: “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
- Backfill the space — once you cast something out, fill the place with Holy Spirit: speak power, love, and sound mind into that area of your life and home.
- Persist — sometimes breakthroughs are immediate; often results appear days, weeks, or months later. Keep speaking until the evidence catches up with the word.
A short script you can use now
“In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind the spirit of fear (or name the issue). I break its hold on me and my home. I release the Spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. In Jesus’ name, go.”
Real encounters: small acts of faith that changed lives
I could tell you story after story. Here are three brief, true examples that show how this works—the person speaks, the spirit leaves, and the life changes.
- Connor: I charged at him as a demonstration of fear’s attack. The first time he froze. The second time he said one word—“No”—and I stopped dead. That one-word response in faith stopped the attack.
- Amira: She was babbling under a demonic confusion. I instructed her to speak to the spirit. The moment she commanded it out with her own voice it left, and clarity returned. She had delivered herself.
- Van: Addicted to alcohol, he felt an urge in the early hours. He remembered a simple command: “No.” He spoke it. The urge left repeatedly and the addiction lost its power.
Each of these people did not need a special windfall of spiritual power from me—they needed to be instructed and empowered to use the authority they already had. Once they acted, the enemy learned they were no longer easy targets.
Multiply what you have
The five loaves and two fish story is not only about Jesus’ power; it’s about obedience and multiplication. Jesus asked his followers to take what they had, bless it, break it, and give it away. The miracle followed obedience and distribution. The pattern for us is the same: give what you have—your voice, your time, your faith—and watch God multiply it.
Do not wait for perfect resources. Offer the small, bless it, and distribute. Faith grows when you stretch. The first step into the miracle zone is often a small, audacious act prompted by belief.
A direct challenge to you
If you say you believe, do one thing today that you have never done before—simply because you believe. Speak to a fear. Command a habit to leave. Step one inch out of your comfort zone and do it now. The kingdom advances every time one person stands up and acts.
Practical reminders before you go
- Keep your Bible close. Use scripture as your script.
- When you cast a spirit out, fill the place with the Spirit—power, love, sound mind.
- Expect resistance. The enemy will try to return. Persist. Each time you command him in faith, he will back off sooner until he finally quits bothering you.
- Be a multiplier. Teach others to use their voice so transformation spreads.
You were created to bear God’s image, to speak light into darkness, and to rule the territory you’ve been given. The age of spectator Christianity is over. The Lord is calling a people who will arise and act. Start small. Speak. Bind. Backfill. Multiply. The results will follow.
