Hallelujah. Today I want to speak plainly to you—no fluff, no waiting years for the promise to show up. The Father is shouting over the earth: you were made in His image and likeness. Your training for reigning has reached its peak. The invitation is simple and urgent: will you honor God with your trust and begin to move?
The central truth: faith is the substance of everything you hope for
Faith is not an optional accessory. It is the mechanism by which what is promised becomes reality. Ephesians 3:20 says God will do exceedingly and abundantly beyond anything you can ask, think, or imagine— according to the power that operates in you. But that power is unlocked by one thing: your faith.
If you are waiting for some theological lecture or a sky‑writing sign, stop. God’s timing and God’s resources are released the moment you take Him at His word. The widow of Zarephath handed Elijah her last meal and watched God multiply a lifetime supply out of a quarter teaspoon of oil. That miracle was contained by the size of her faith. You are not exempt from that principle.
Kill small thinking. You were made large
Gideon thought he was nothing. God called him a mighty man of valor. Stop decreeing your limitations. When you constantly say, “there’s nothing special about me,” you are helping the enemy beat you down. The Word says you decree a thing and cause it to be established. Speak differently. Act differently. Your identity—image and likeness—deserves a response from you.
Practical step: write it down
-
Take a pen and write the things you've been hoping for.
-
Make it specific. Habakkuk 2 says write the vision and make it plain.
-
Decree it. Job 22:28 promises that when you decree a thing, it will be established.
-
Now tie your shoes and start walking—one obedient step after another.
Tie your shoes: the metaphor of moving in faith
When I say “tie your shoes,” I mean do the immediate, necessary act of obedience that allows you to walk. Abraham didn’t know where he was going, but he moved step by step. You don’t need the whole map—just the courage to take the next step in faith. The moment you start walking, your faith grows, the ground clarifies, and God shows you the next step.
How faith operates practically
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. Then you speak it back out of your mouth, and it begins to change you. Life and death are in the power of the tongue. Use that power.
Three daily disciplines
- Read Scripture—let the Word leap off the page. When it resonates, it’s speaking to you.
- Speak the promise—declare what God said about you: provision, healing, restoration.
- Act on it—write the vision, give the tiny loaf, tithe, start the altar in your home, then walk.
Consecration, not conformity
You are called to be in the world, not of it. Consecration means God has set you apart to be a light. You will not fit in with every cultural drift—and that’s by design. When the great shaking comes, the contrast between those who are rooted and those who are not will draw many into the kingdom.
Love your neighbors, but refuse to conform to what dishonors God. Your faithful life will speak louder than any argument. The world will watch—and many will lean in because they see something better in you.
Training for reigning: your season has arrived
God told me: your training for reigning has reached its peak. This is not about celebrity or power games. It’s about stewardship—ruling well over the territory you’ve been given, whether that is your household, your block, or a nation. The crucible you’ve been through has prepared you to exercise dominion with wisdom.
Expect refining. Let the fire purify so you emerge as gold. When the testing ends, a commissioning will follow. Prepare for your ship to dock; God has put everything on board that you will need.
Tithing and the principle of seed and harvest
God invited the widow to hand over her last meal and then fed her. That principle carries over into giving. The windows of heaven open when you bring your seed into the storehouse. Give as an act of faith; watch God rebuke the devourer and multiply what you entrust to Him.
Giving is a faith filter, not a cash grab
I’ve wrestled with how to build our community site—how to separate casual consumers from committed carriers of the apostolic call. A small barrier of commitment filters for those willing to participate and give back. That principle shows up in spiritual life too: doing something with what you’ve been given multiplies it.
Courtroom language and spiritual warfare
There are seasons to go into the courts of heaven—to get verdicts against fear, anxiety, accusation. We will break chains together. But that courtroom work follows a life of obedience and a people who refuse to be passive. The accuser is active. Your faithful decrees and testimonies are the answer.
Steps you can take right now
- Write down one thing you’ve been hoping for. Decree it aloud.
- Take one practical step this week that aligns with that declaration—call someone, start an altar at home, give a small seed.
- Discipline your tongue—speak your decrees daily until your heart lines up with them.
- Begin a habit of consecration—separate time each day to be holy in your responses.
- Find a community that will sharpen you—people who will hold you accountable to walk in authority.
The kingdom is advancing. The shaking is not designed to destroy the faithful; it is designed to remove what can be shaken so the unshakable kingdom remains. Step into that unshakable place today. Tie your shoes. Start walking. Be willing to partner with God and watch Him multiply the small things into lifetime supply.
Blessings, Howard Olsen
