Crossing Season: Step Out In Trust or Be Left Behind

Good morning. I'm speaking to you today as one who has been standing on the shoreline with you—watching God do the impossible and waiting for you to make the decision to move. We are in a crossing season, a second Exodus, and every day God is parting seas and preparing dry ground. That does not remove your responsibility to walk across. He's not going to push or drag you; He is calling you to step out in trust.

The Moment at the Red Sea: Why Decision Matters

Imagine standing where Israel stood—walls of water on either side, the hooves of Pharaoh's army pounding behind you, a path of dry ground before you. This was supernatural beyond their imagination, and yet the scripture hints that not everyone made it through. I believe some hesitated and paid the price of unbelief.

God will create the way. He will open the door. But He will not force you through. Faith is not passive. Faith is action—moving on the promise before the evidence catches up. If you wait for perfect feeling or flawless logic, you will miss the moment God has arranged.

You're Familiar, Not Intimate

Many of you know the stories: manna from heaven, water from the rock, angels pouring out protection. Familiarity with those accounts does not equal intimacy with the power behind them. Familiar does not translate into obedience.

The Bible is full of invitations with conditions. God restores and provides, but He asks for participation. He says, "As I was with Moses, so I will be with you—be strong and courageous." That is not a passive promise. It is an invitation to step forward.

Unbelief Has Consequences

Jude reminds us that the Lord saved His people out of Egypt but later destroyed those guilty of unbelief. The consequence was not God striking them down—it was the harvest of their refusal to trust. If you choose unbelief, you forfeit what was prepared for you.

That warning is not intended to frighten but to provoke courage. God is making all things new (Revelation 21). He will dwell with us. But He needs a people who will move when He moves.

Your Miracle Requires Movement

This is a simple spiritual law: miracles are often unlocked by your movement. Sitting and waiting for the heavens to drop a solution without your participation is not fellowship with the living God. He said, "If you love me, you will do my commands." Love acts; love moves.

I know this by hard experience. There were seven brutal years when my wife faced one crisis after another. I needed miracle after miracle. During that season, people showed up at my door asking for prayer for needs that, honestly, looked small compared to what we were walking through. I resented it—until God reminded me, "Give and it shall be given."

When I began to pray for and give to others in that season—when I sacrificed from the place of my need—God returned the measure back to me. Your movement of generosity, prayer, serving, or laying hands on someone else's need becomes the soil in which your own miracle grows.

Practical Ways to Move

  • Speak life: Every word is a seed. Stop confessing the problem; start confessing the promise.
  • Give: Financially, spiritually, emotionally—release what you have and trust God to supply the harvest.
  • Pray for others: Release your miracle into someone else; often God brings it back to you multiplied.
  • Act in small steps: Faith is often measured by one next obedient step, not a giant leap without preparation.

Faith Versus Fear: The Choice at the Shoreline

Revelation 21 speaks of the one who conquers and the cowardly, the faithless. There is a heritage reserved for the one who overcomes. The defining moment is not in heaven—it's at the shoreline where you are asked to move.

The Lord is not asking for blind optimism. He asks for trust—taking Him at His word. We go by faith and not by sight. We move according to the promise, not according to the circumstance. When you step, the miracle territory becomes visible beneath your feet.

Give and Receive: The Principle Works Across Everything

What applies to finances applies to faith and healing. The measure you give will be the measure returned. This is not merchandising faith; it is kingdom economy. When you release your faith outward, you position yourself to receive. That is why some of you will not receive your miracle until you first release one into someone else.

Strengthen Your Shield of Faith

There's spiritual armor for a reason. Choose the shield of faith. Reject the shield of doubt. Doubt attracts the very arrows you are trying to avoid. Pick up faith daily—speak Scripture aloud, obey in small things, and refuse the narrative that "this will never end."

A Short Daily Practice

  1. Begin each morning with a declaration: "I trust You, Lord."
  2. Read a passage—remember that the Word is alive; you are holding Jesus in your hands when you open Scripture.
  3. Do one immediate act of generosity or intercession for someone else.
  4. Speak a promise over your circumstance before you speak the problem.

Communion, Covenant, and Claiming Promises

Communion is not simply remembrance; it is a covenantal act that restores what was lost in Eden. Christ gave Himself so you could reclaim dominion, authority, and intimacy with the Father. When you take the bread and the cup, make a demand on the covenant promises He purchased for you. Ask and receive; claim healing, provision, and deliverance in Jesus' name.

Final Charge

Things are shifting globally—governments, economies, the structures that once seemed immovable. But the shaking is meant to reveal God's unshakable people. You are being prepared to be that people. The parting of your Red Sea is real. The dry path is laid out. Will you move?

I ask you now: are you willing to stop speaking defeat? Will you begin to speak the promise instead? Will you release what you need to receive? Your miracle requires your movement. Don't be the one who hesitates on the shoreline watching others pass through.
