Expect The Turnaround: It Will Not Always Be As It Has Been. Do You Trust Me?

Dec 30, 2025 • 5 min read

As today's call ended (the unrecorded - After Call) I got a vision of an old beat up pair of work boots, heavily scuffed and scraped & scathed,  being taken to a cobbler to be restored and refinished. Then the Lord said, I'm doing a new thing, don't you perceive it.  The new thing won't look like the old thing - so stop trying to see what I'm up to through an old lens - or you wont recognize what I'm doing right in front of you.  Stay open to what I'm doing and you'll see it.  I'm not giving you back your old pair of beat up Clarks with a bit of polish I'm sending you out in a new pair of Fluevogs.

Today I want to speak plainly into the place you're standing in right now. The atmosphere is heavy, the headlines are loud, and it feels like the enemy is throwing everything at us. Still, I declare with conviction: we are watching the death throes of a kingdom that has had its day. The call for us is not to retreat in fear but to stand, to speak, and to steward the authority given to us through the cross.

The landscape: death throes and divine overturning

There is a season of unraveling happening—financial schemes, corrupt systems, and lies that have held sway for years. When a predator takes its prey, the prey may thrash in its last moments. That violent shaking is what we see now in the kingdom of darkness. But shaking does not equal victory for them. It signals collapse.

We do not worship systems, we worship the Judge. He is at work. His ways are higher than ours. His timing does not always match our timetable, but His promises are sure. So the posture now is trust, not panic; action, not passivity.

Two hinge truths to carry into the next season

  1. You are authorized. Through the work of the cross you have been called, sent, and authorized. You are not a spectator; you are a primary agent of God’s authority on the earth.
  2. Your words matter. The resources of heaven are ready, but many remain inactive until you speak them into motion. Words are seeds; speak life.

Choose joy as your defense

Joy is not optional. It is a garment God gives as a defense. When confusion and despair swirl, choose praise. Cut the murmuring and complaining. Purpose to use your words and your mental focus to build up faith. The Lord says: your responsibility in initiating heaven’s defense rests with your conscious choices to choose joy, praise, and worship even amid pressure.

When you don't have the message, go anyway

The story of Peter and Cornelius (Acts 10) is a picture of obedience before explanation. Peter receives a vision that expands his understanding, yet when he is summoned to give a message he had no ready sermon. He went because God sent him. God filled his mouth at the right moment with the right words.

This is a leadership principle: God will often ask you to move before He gives you full clarity. Moving in obedience primes heaven to speak through you. If you wait only for full understanding, you miss the moment when God wants to surprise you with insight and power.

Do you trust me?

That single question is a crossroads. Saying yes turns fear into faith. Saying yes makes you available for angelic encounters, divine visits, and the flow of revelation. Expect supernatural interruption—dreams, visions, angels—and do not dismiss them when they come.

The practical rhythms that activate authority

  • Declare specifics. When you pray, be precise. God honors clarity and boldness. Tell Him what you want in faith, not in doubt.
  • Speak your testimony. Share what God has done. When Peter spoke his witness, the Holy Spirit fell on the listeners. Words of testimony invite the Spirit to move.
  • Choose praise daily. Make worship your weapon. Joy is strength; praise is strategy.
  • Expect angelic and spiritual encounters. The Lord is returning to pour out revelation. Dreams and visions are increasing—lean in and learn to recognize them.
  • Move before you see the full plan. Obedience opens the way for God to supply the message, the miracle, and the breakthrough.

Addressing confusion and identity from a pastoral heart

I speak urgently for those wrestling with identity and the pressures of cultural narratives. God made you. His words about you are authoritative and life-giving. For anyone living in confusion, my plea is this: come back to the Source who formed you and called you by name. I stand in the service of calling people into clarity, restoration, and destiny. This is a call to compassion, not condemnation—yet it is also a call to truth.

How to practice this day-to-day

  1. Start your day with a short, decisive declaration: "God, I trust You. I choose joy. I will speak what You give me."
  2. Keep a journal of small promptings and confirmations. When God moves, record it. Patterns will emerge.
  3. Speak with specificity when you pray. Expectations help activate heaven’s resources.
  4. Share one testimony each week. Practice saying what God did. The act of testimony invites the Spirit to repeat the miracle.
  5. Step when sent. If a door opens, walk through it even if the full map is not revealed.

Encouragement for those whose promises feel delayed

If a promise seems late, remember: delay is not denial. God’s timing is rarely our timing, but it is perfect. Many of the promises you carry are in gestation. The season of waiting is often a setup for a greater reveal. Trust is being trained; persistence is being refined.

Today I declare that the Lord is restoring your fight and breathing fresh faith into your heart. You are authorized, not abandoned. Speak, even when you don't feel equipped. The same God who enabled Peter will supply what you need as you go.

Final charge

Do not align with the enemy’s lie that "it will always be as it’s been." Look up. Draw near. Speak boldly. The Lord is doing a new thing. He is filling mouths, restoring destinies, and releasing momentum. Rise. Speak. Expect turnaround.
