In this message I shared on DecreeForCanada, I called our community to rise up, put on the full armor of God, and engage both the spiritual and natural battles currently confronting our nation and the world. What follows is a faithful retelling and expansion of that message: a clear, urgent charge to the remnant to act in prayer, prophetic decree, and practical resistance. If you joined me live, you felt the urgency and the stirrings; if you did not, read this and take your place. The hour is significant and our assignment is large.
Rooted and Fruitful: The Foundation (Psalm 1)
We begin with the bedrock. Psalm 1 paints a picture of the righteous: rooted, flourishing, meditating on the revelation of God day and night. I opened with this scripture because it frames who we must be—people who do not walk in the counsel of the wicked, who do not sit in the scorner's seat, and who remain steadfast in the Word of the true I AM.
Oh, what delight comes to one who follows God's ways... He will be standing firm like a flourishing tree planted by God's design, deeply rooted by brooks of bliss bearing fruit in every season of life.
My prayer was simple and honest: Father, help us to follow your ways in all of our ways. The promise here is that when we are rooted in God’s truth, we are ever blessed, ever prosperous in the spiritual sense, capable of bearing fruit in every season—no matter the storms, no matter the shifting cultural landscapes.
Enemy Strategies Revealed: Power Grids, AI and Legislative Overreach
We are not naive about the tactics being used against freedom and truth. Over the last days I was overwhelmed by headlines and reports showing a coordinated effort underpinning both technological and legislative moves. BlackRock buying power generation infrastructure. Big tech and finance forming consortia to control data centers (and therefore demand immense power to fuel AI). Laws that would grant unprecedented surveillance and censorship authority. These are not isolated news items; they are connected.
Let me spell out the critical threats we addressed:
- Centralized Control of Energy and Data — When funds and corporations acquire power grids and data centers without adding new generation, they can unilaterally redirect power and create scarcity-driven pricing and control.
- AI and Unchecked Demand — AI infrastructure demands huge energy. The strategic buy-up of grid assets to support data centers is a game plan to concentrate influence over society.
- Legislation That Threatens Freedoms — Bills like C-2, C-8, and C-9 (and potential reintroductions of Online Harms-style legislation) threaten privacy, cash use, and freedom of speech. We must treat these as spiritual and civic emergencies.
These are not merely policy debates. They are moving the levers of control that will determine our ability to steward truth and to function as a free people. We must respond accordingly.
The Call to Rise: Ecclesia, Committees and Intercessors
God has not left us to scramble alone. He is calling an ecclesia—assembled, trained, and activated. I spoke about organizing oversight committees by sphere of influence: Canada, the U.S., Israel, religion, arts & entertainment, and more. Why? Because spiritual authority must translate into coordinated, sustained intercession and action.
I felt the Lord say clearly: the season of simply receiving decrees is changing. He has trained us for years. Now He is calling each of us to open our mouths and decree. This is not passive religiosity—this is an activated, strategic ecclesia on mission.
Practical expectations for the ecclesia
- Each person receives an assigned mountain of influence (a sphere) to steward through prayer and action.
- Committees form to pray, research, and mobilize practical responses to legislative threats.
- Every member uses their voice—emails to MPs, phone calls, publication of researched facts, and public witness.
Put On the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18)
We anchored our response in Ephesians 6, because the spiritual battle must be fought with spiritual weapons. I led us through a corporate putting on of the armor:
- Belt of Truth — To expose deception and hold fast to reality.
- Breastplate of Righteousness — Protecting the heart from enticement and discouragement.
- Feet Fitted with the Gospel of Peace — Ready to take the light into places of chaos.
- Shield of Faith — To extinguish every flaming arrow of accusation and fear.
- Helmet of Salvation — Guarding our minds against doubt and confusion.
- Sword of the Spirit (the Word) — The offensive weapon to demolish strongholds and decrees that contradict God’s truth.
- Prayer in the Spirit — Constant communion and persistence in intercession with the saints.
We declared these out loud: that our morning would be put in order, that demonic assignments would be dislodged, that communication structures of darkness would be dismantled, and that the blood of Jesus would cover our lives, our institutions, and our people.
Prophetic Words: Winds of Change and Whistleblowers
Prophecy is not optional in this hour. Several prophetic impressions came through that we must steward:
- Winds of Change Hosts — Angels assigned to break apart the clouds of deception and expose lies on the airwaves and in government corridors.
- Whistleblowers Rising — A prophetic plea to pray for conviction upon those entrenched in lies, that they would become whistleblowers and reveal hidden agendas.
- God Raising and Deposing Leaders — A reminder from Daniel 2 that God changes times and seasons, raises kings and brings them down. Our prayers align with His sovereign corrections.
We called these things forward. We prayed that the propagandists and corrupted officials would experience conviction, speak truth, and thereby catalyze the exposure and collapse of ungodly schemes.
Practical, Natural Steps — What You Can Do Today
Prophecy and prayer compel action. Here are clear, practical next steps I assigned and encouraged everyone to do immediately:
- Contact your Member of Parliament (MP) — Do it now. Whether Conservative, Liberal, NDP, Green or Bloc, every MP needs to hear from concerned citizens about C-2, C-8, C-9, and any Online Harms legislation.
- Publicize the threat — Share researched summaries, news links, and rational explanations with neighbors, small groups, and social media. Raise awareness locally.
- Form or join a committee — Steward a sphere of influence: education, religion, health, media, finance. Coordinate prayer and civic reporting actions together.
- Protect your assets and privacy — Consider the implications of cash thresholds, precious metals, and data privacy. Be prudent and strategic while remaining trusting in God’s provision.
- Pray and Decree Daily — Use the language of the Spirit. Bind the unrighteous legislation and loose righteousness. Press into corporate prayer times.
We Bind and We Decree: The Spiritual Weight of Our Words
We did not shy away from declaration. We bound the proposed bills and declared them struck down in the heavens, calling for judicial and divine correction. We invoked scriptural promises of judgment on unrighteous legislators and protection over covenant people who bless Israel.
Declare with me: we will not be silenced. We will not accept legislative theft of liberty. We will press for godly governance rooted in truth and righteousness. We will bind the schemes that would turn nations into police states or silence truth under threat of fines, ankle monitors, or surveillance. Our declarations are backed by the Holy Spirit and the authority we carry in Christ.
Encouragement for Those Who Are Battle-Weary
Confession: I said plainly, “I’m battle weary.” Some of you are too. The weight of constant spiritual warfare and the barrage of news can leave us depleted. But I reoriented myself (and you) to three truths:
- God does not slumber—He hears and answers. (Psalm 121)
- Victory belongs to the Lord—He will subdue our enemies beneath our feet when we take the field and worship at the altar.
- We are not called to bear this alone—He’s activating an ecclesia to join Him in both heaven and earth.
We asked God for a spiritual recharge and pressed into worship and tongues together to bring heaven’s strategies into the earth. The Holy Spirit is training us to operate corporately in a higher dimension than before.
Conclusion: Rise Up—This Is a Season of Transition
Your voice matters. Your prayers matter. Your practical activism matters. We are in a season where the enemy is on his last legs, and yet will strike back in a recoil. That recoil is what creates urgency and confusion. We must stand unshakable, rooted in Scripture and clothed in God’s armor.
I called the ecclesia to keep speaking, keep praying, keep decreeing, and keep taking practical steps in the natural—contact MPs, form committees, and protect your households. We are not helpless. We have authority. God raises leaders and removes them; He exposes hidden things; He dispatches winds of change and whistleblowers. When we act in unity—spiritually and naturally—heaven moves and the landscape of government, media, and culture will shift.
Let this be our posture going forward: alert, sober, bold, and compassionate. Wake the sleeping church. Raise the righteous indignation that issues forth in prayer and action. We are the remnant, and we are being strengthened to build the body and advance the Kingdom.
Stand with me. Put on your armor. Declare God's truth into your morning. Take your seat in the ecclesia and steward the mountain God gives you. We will not sit in the scorner’s seat. We will bear fruit in every season.
