Today I speak to you out of a place of praise and prophetic perspective. Psalm 148 calls us to let the skies be filled with praise, and right now the heavens over the Middle East are full of movement — missiles, strikes, reports of regime decapitation. Operation Roaring Lion has begun on the calendar of Purim, and I want you to see the thread that ties these moments together: what has been will be again. The story of Esther is not simply an ancient narrative; it is a pattern, a divine rhythm that repeats when God’s people rise, worship and decree.
Purim and the Pattern of Reversal
The book of Esther tells the story of an attempted purge, an appointed day set by Haman to annihilate God’s people. It ends with a dramatic reversal: Haman and his sons are exposed, the decree backfires, and Mordecai — once an exile, once ignored — is promoted to power. Purim becomes the annual celebration of that reversal. The important phrase for us is simple: patterns repeat. Historic injustices are revealed. Arrogant powers fall. God’s people are restored.
Whenever Scripture narrates an event, it often serves both as history and as instruction. These stories are not dead letters; they are operational templates. The casting of lots, the plot that backfired, the elevation of Mordecai — these are a pattern. And we are living in a season where that pattern is being replayed in real time. Ecclesiates 1:9 states: What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun
Operation Roaring Lion: A Modern Echo of Esther
Over the last days, battles have escalated in the Middle East. Reports surfaced that a leadership meeting inside Iran was bombed, taking out senior members of the regime. Command structures are shaken; there are stories of leaders asking for immunity and of Guard units reconsidering their positions. These developments are seismic. They are also the very scriptural pattern of a Haman-class power suddenly stripped of its certainty.
I am not here to celebrate suffering. I am here to declare that God’s historical pattern — the defeat of those who plot evil against His people — is being fulfilled. Purim’s reversal of fortune is showing up again: systems that seemed immovable are being exposed and dismantled. Mordecai is a type; the righteous rise in authority when God’s timing reaches its appointed hour.
Enter the Gates with Thanksgiving: Worship as Strategy
There is an instruction in Scripture that too many of us treat as poetry instead of as a practical mandate: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving; come into his courts with praise.” This is not passive. Praise is a verb. Thanksgiving is an entry point. The warfare you face in the spirit realm is often won in the place of worship.
When we praise audibly and genuinely, we change the atmosphere. Angels are given charge over those who praise. Praise aligns us with heaven, opens the inner court and places us under the king’s scepter. Esther did not approach the king casual or hidden; she entered the court with authority and favor because she came at the right time, after prayer and with courage. So must we.
The Armor, the Words and the Power of Decree
Spiritual conflict is real, but Scripture gives us armor and a role to play. Put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the helmet of salvation, the shoes of peace and take up the sword of the Spirit. This is not religious decoration; it is functional gear for the assignment before you.
Words matter. The Bible repeats that a king’s decree, once sealed, cannot be undone — and that principle is mirrored for us in the spiritual. We must be careful what we declare. But when we speak God’s decrees — when we declare liberty for the oppressed, justice for the innocent, and the overthrow of wicked designs — we are cooperating with heaven’s legal order.
Remember the symmetry in that Purim story: the plot was set, then reversed by a higher decree. In the heavenly court there are rulings being released right now. We participate by righteous speech, consistent praise and the lifestyle of thanksgiving that anchors us to the throne.
What We’re Decreeing Now
In this season I am asking you to join in focused, faith-filled declarations:
For Iran: for freedom to arise among ordinary people, for corrupt leadership to be exposed, and for a legitimate transition that brings relief rather than opportunistic plunder.
For Israel and her neighbours: for protection, strategic clarity and a turn of hearts where possible; for godly leaders to be elevated, and for Haman-class plots to backfire.
For our own nations: for governments to be guided back toward justice, for the soul of each nation to be reclaimed by prayer, and for leaders who carry favor and wisdom to arise.
We do not fight for victory; we fight from victory. The cross secured the end of tyranny and the beginning of restoration. Our job is to enforce that already-won victory by faith, prayer and the decrees we align ourselves with.
Practical Faith: How to Walk This Out
If you want more authority, it begins with presence: enter the gate with thanksgiving and spend time there. Make praise audible. Turn ordinary moments into opportunities to speak blessing and truth. Train your tongue to issue decrees that match God’s heart: justice for the oppressed, judgment on the wicked, restoration for the innocent.
Be intentional about your inner life. Put on the helmet of salvation so your thoughts are checked. Strap the belt of truth so you walk aligned. Put on the shoes of Shalom so every step you take brings peace into chaotic places. These are not abstractions; they are how God equips you to be an agent of His kingdom.
What Has Been, Will Be Again — Rise Up
The Purim pattern is alive: a plot to destroy, a revelation that exposes, an elevation of the righteous, and a feast of celebration. Operation Roaring Lion is, for many of us, the modern echo of that ancient reversal. God is at work in the heavens and on the earth. He is calling a people to worship, to decree and to stand in boldness. This is our hour.
Make this a posture, not a moment. Let gratitude become a spiritual habit. Let praise become the key that opens the inner court. Speak the decrees of heaven with humility and boldness. Watch as the plots of Haman-class powers unravel and as Mordecai-like leaders are established to secure justice and relief for the oppressed.
Join me in prayer, in praise and in prophetic declaration. The pattern has been set — what has been will be again — and we are not spectators. We are witnesses and participants in the unfolding of God’s reversal.
