The Dream: A Storm Unlike Any Other

This message began with a dream. In the dream, there was a great storm, a storm like no other storm. At first, it was like a tornado was blowing through, and I was in my home. It wasn't the house that I'm in now. It was a different house in a different location. My family, everyone seemed to be gone except for my oldest child, who was somewhere in another part of the house. I was watching the storm on the TV, watching the radar and the reports about the storm, and I could see that it was getting worse and worse. I could hear the storm increasing outside.

Outside, there were people trying to escape from the storm, and because of this, there was a big traffic jam. All the cars were piled up on each other, and there was nowhere for them to go. The water was rising; the streets were flooding, and the water was rising up on the cars, flooding the roads. It was trapping the cars, trapping all the motorists, and there was basically no hope for anyone getting anywhere. The wind and the rain were very strong, and there was screaming—people screaming, children screaming in their cars and in the windows, people panicking.

Then all of a sudden, the roof of my house was suddenly ripped off, and I was trying to hold on and take cover as now I was exposed to all of the storm. The trees suddenly started to get uprooted, and I looked up in the sky and could see huge trunks of trees just falling down to earth and falling all around me. It was like the trees were just being picked up and tossed in the air and dropped from the sky onto my house. I had to keep moving to try to stay alive and to dodge these trees crashing all around me.

I prayed in the dream. I asked the Lord to help me survive. I ducked and ran and got out of the house because it was clear there was no chance of surviving there. I ran across the street, and the water was kind of up to my knees. I passed all these cars that were stuck in traffic, and as I was running down the road, I could see all the devastation that had come to the city. I had this sense that there was a place that was safe, and it was this hotel.

The hotel had a glass entrance door, then you went into a glass vestibule, then another glass door, and then you were in the lobby of the hotel. As I got into the lobby, these security guards came up to me and said, "You can't stay here. You have to leave." I got into an argument with the security guards. I started yelling at them, and they started yelling at me. They threatened to call the police, and I said, "Go ahead and call them." I was in a complete and total panic, telling them, "Do you realize what I have seen? I have seen children falling out of cars, falling out of windows. Do you understand what's happened? The town is gone. Everything is gone. I've lost everything. I've lost my family and my house. I have nothing. Everything is gone."

As I was arguing with the security guards, suddenly all these people started to stream into the hotel. These were essentially refugees who had come to escape the storm. The room was suddenly filled with people looking for some place to stay. Then the scene shifted. Suddenly, we were in a room seated in chairs watching a news program on the TV updating us about the storm. These were the survivors, the people who had survived.

My daughter, who had been in the house when the storm hit, was suddenly with me, and I was grateful that she was okay, that we had found each other. Somehow, I knew that my wife and the rest of my children were gone. But I had a peace about them being gone because I knew they were with the Lord. I did not have the sense that they were dead, but rather that they were taken and that where they were, they were in a safe place. Yet, we were here in the midst of a very dangerous situation.

I knew they were okay and was assured of that. I was glad my oldest child was with me because I knew at least I could protect her or be with her. I wondered about my mother and other people in my family. The storm and the hotel were sort of the end of the dream — that moment in the room with all the other survivors and the sense that the rest of the family was gone but okay.

The Word from the Lord

I mentioned the dream because when I woke up from it, I was in the spirit, and the spirit of the Lord was very, very heavy upon me. Then the words began to come shortly after that. I also mentioned the dream because it mirrors two other dreams I had in the past, both related to storms where there was flooding, a hotel as a secure place that I was trying to get to, and other people trying to get to. Also, this idea of refugees and survivors bound together.

Now we go into the words that came from the Lord after I awoke. This is what the Lord said:

"Remember, as I have said, I will never leave you nor forsake you. Even in the storm, I will not leave those that are my own. There is a storm coming. A storm unlike any other. A storm to shake the foundations of the very earth. This is the storm that you have seen.

For I will shake the nations out like a cloth, and all the world will know that I am the Lord when they see my power displayed upon the earth. When they see, then they will know. Even in the terror, even in the devastation, still I am a comforter. Still I am a helper for those who cry out to me. I will not leave my chosen ones to the fire, but I shall make a way for those that are my own, that they will be with me where I am.

There are many who cannot read the signs of the times and so they see these things coming and yet they do not understand the danger that presses down upon them. Though they have eyes, they cannot see. Though they have ears, they cannot hear. For the God of this age has blinded their eyes and deafened their ears that they might not see, that they might not hear. If they could but hear, there are some that still might yet turn. Still I am working. Even at this final hour, still my children are at work, even now bringing in the sheaf of that late great harvest. For I shall lose none of those that belong to me, and I shall gather them into a mighty storehouse. But what is left outside is left to the fire.

I am the Lord, the maker of heaven and earth, alpha and omega, the beginning and the end. He who was and who is and who is to come."

A Vision of Protest and Assurance

Now there was a vision, and these are the words I spoke to describe what I was seeing:

"There are angry people on the streets protesting. I see them gathered in Rome demanding accountability for what they have seen."

The word of the Lord continued:

"Oh beloved, do not fear those things that are coming on the earth, for I shall set you aside and keep you in reserve. There are those who hate the human race, and they would seek to destroy what I have made, but none can oppose those that I have chosen for myself, for they are in my hand.

But beware, oh my children, in this age, and keep your watch, for the days are evil. Those that are wise have heeded that message. Therefore, there is no need to warn. A pinch, a peck for those that remain. A battle being fought for the nations. We are gripped by the Lord, held in his hand. Have no fear. We rest in what has been accomplished."

The only other thing I would say, brothers and sisters, that's the end of the word. It felt a little bit disjointed to me. It was very, very late as I received this word. But my contract with the Lord really essentially is that if He gives me a word, I have told Him that I will share it if it's something that I'm supposed to share. And so here I am once again to share it with you.

I do want to mention that the Lord gave me Revelation 9:6 in conjunction with that line that says "a battle being fought for the nations," which is interesting if you read Revelation 9:6 and what it’s about. I encourage you to check it out.

Final Thoughts and Encouragement

Brothers and sisters, I pray the Lord will bless you and be with you wherever you are and with whatever is going on with you. You're welcome to put your prayer requests into the comment section so I can respond to you and so other people can pray for you as well.

I encourage you to check out the Substack, strengthfortoday.substack.com, where I recently started recording for the podcast again, revisiting some of the older messages. I released an episode of that today. If you're on the Substack mailing list, you probably got a notification about that. There will be another one in a few days as well. So, I encourage you to check that out.

Brothers and sisters, just pray the Lord will bless you and be with you in all things. Look forward to being with you again here or seeing you up there. God bless. Take care.
