The World As We Know It Is Shifting: The Glory of the Lord Will Be Revealed

January 20, 2026

Friends, hear me now: the season we are in is weighty, urgent, and full of grace. I speak to you this morning as one who has felt the stirring of the Holy Spirit and been told plainly: worship the Lord for His presence, not position; prepare the way for His glory; and then go do what Jesus told you to do. This is both a comfort and a command.

The Priority: Presence Over Position

There is a simple but powerful instruction I keep hearing: do not look for position; look for My presence. When we fix our eyes on position—titles, approvals, platforms—we drift into performance. But when we pursue the presence of God, everything changes. Shame is undone. Hearts are freed. The atmosphere shifts. The Holy Spirit moves and gives us clarity, protection, and wisdom to face what is coming.

Worship must be about Him. Too much of modern worship focuses on "me"—my feelings, my moment, my uplift. I am calling us back to worship that draws in the presence. It is in that presence that darkness cannot stand, and the Lord gives us the vision to prepare and the courage to obey.

Isaiah 40: Comfort and the Promise of Revealed Glory

"Comfort, comfort my people," says your God. This is not a distant promise; it is a now-word. Isaiah paints a picture of a highway made straight, valleys lifted, mountains made low. The glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together. When that glory falls, it will expose hidden schemes and usher in mercy that draws people back.

That combination—judgment to reveal and mercy to restore—is the heartbeat of what we are entering. God is a just God and a merciful God. Both are working together to bring His people into repentance, healing, and celebration.

Biblical Pattern: Schemes Exposed, Good from Evil

Look at the stories the Lord gave us as templates: Joseph, Esther, Daniel, Paul, and ultimately the cross. In each case a plot was hatched, but through providence or revelation the scheme was exposed and turned for greater good. That pattern is not merely historical; it is prophetic for our day. When darkness schemes, God peels back the curtain and uses the very thing intended for harm to birth deliverance.

This means when you see plotting and injustice—do not despair. Pray. Shine light. Speak the truth. God promises that no weapon formed against His people will prosper, and that deceivers will be exposed.

Ezra and Nehemiah: Unity, Teaching, and Joy

Ezra read the law from morning until noon, and the people listened with reverence. They responded not with sorrow but with celebration: a feast, a festival, and the building of shelters for a time of remembrance and rejoicing. That public, communal response is instructive for us.

When the body assembles in unity—you, me, men, women, children - devoid of religious zealotry — there is an anointing that descends. I have seen it: when hearts gather in one accord, a lightning-bolt visitation can come. The result is not merely information but transformation.

A Practical Vision: A Festival of Shelters

I had a vivid picture of us building shelters in a field—tents, lean-tos, a week of simple life and focused worship. Imagine a modern festival of consecration: community, teaching, healing, and celebration. The point is not the novelty of tents; it is the posture of returning to simplicity and dependence on God. Somewhere with God is better than anywhere else.

Go—Participate, Don’t Just Expect

I want to press this on you: repentance and revival require participation. Prophetic words and promises are true, but many of them are conditional. Miracles respond to hunger. Breakthroughs respond to obedience. Revival responds to surrender.

Jesus did not send us to be spectators. He said, "Go." Go and heal the sick. Go and cleanse the lepers. Go and cast out demons. You do not always need a special confirmation: the command is already given. When the prompting rises in your spirit—go.

  • Lay hands and leave the miracle to God.
  • Pray where compassion moves you; speak life where faith is required.
  • Plant seeds—time, words, prayer, resources—and trust God to bring the harvest.

Let me give a concrete example. A woman called me about her brother-in-law who was critically injured in a public attack. We prayed by phone, standing in faith for healing. Months later a donor I had never met sent a gift—she reached out and said the family was awakened that night and an entire family came to Christ. The man recovered. You may not get an immediate receipt for what you do in obedience, but God stores up fruit and often returns it with interest.

Prophetic Word for the Nation: Canada and Beyond

A prophetic word has been released: Canada has been quietly pregnant with revival. Roots have grown underground. Now light is beginning to flicker across unexpected places—homes, hospitals, universities, indigenous communities. Miracles that are undeniable will begin to erupt. This move will be decentralized and personal before it becomes public.

But hear this: the move of God is seeking consecration. Cosmetic Christianity will not carry it. God wants authentic repentance, simple obedience, and a people who will go.

What We Must Do Right Now

  1. Seek His presence daily. Worship that invites the Holy Spirit is the foundation.
  2. Stand in unity with other believers. Public reading, teaching, and communal prayer create an atmosphere for glory to fall.
  3. Act in obedience when the Spirit prompts—heal, pray, warn, bless, and confront wickedness in prayer.
  4. Speak the word prophetically over families, cities, and nations: comfort, expose, restore.

We are not called to fear. We are called to readiness and celebration. Nehemiah told the people, "Do not mourn; this is a sacred day. Go celebrate with rich foods and share with those who have nothing." The joy of the Lord is our strength.

Final Charge

Walk in obedience. Be a partaker, not a passive observer. Plant seeds where you are. If you feel the nudge to pray, pray. If you feel the nudge to speak truth, speak. Lay hands and leave the success to God. He is a miracle-working God, and He will do more through a yielded vessel than any of us can imagine.

Let us hunger for His presence, prepare the way in our hearts and communities, expose darkness with the light of truth, and then go. The glory of the Lord will be revealed, and many will see it together.
