It's Going To Get Worse But It's Not As It Appears: a Prophetic Call for Canada

Apr 15, 2026 • 8 min read

April 15, 2026. Beloved, I want to speak plainly and from the heart about what hour we are in, how we are to discern it, and how we are to respond. What many are calling chaos, God is calling a shaking. What looks like collapse on the surface is, in truth, the exposing and dismantling of systems that have held nations in bondage for generations. And when the shaking is done, only one thing will remain standing: the unshakable Kingdom of God.

That is where we must anchor ourselves. Not in headlines. Not in panic. Not in the false narratives of the age. We must be embedded so deeply in the truth of God that we no longer need reminding every five minutes. His Word is eternal. His covenant is sure. He has not forgotten His people, and He has not forgotten Canada.

The Great Shaking Is Not Against the Remnant

There is a pattern in Scripture that keeps repeating itself. Noah was sealed in the ark. Israel was sealed in Goshen. The homes marked by the blood at Passover were protected until judgment had passed.

The point is not that shaking does not come. The point is that God knows how to preserve His own in the middle of it.

So when pressure increases, when systems convulse, when corruption is exposed, do not interpret that as abandonment. Interpret it correctly. The Lord is bringing a final shaking so that counterfeit structures fall and His purposes stand.

We are not called to fear that storm. We are called to understand it.

Why Submission Matters in Spiritual Warfare

One of the strongest images for this hour is simple: lifted hands. We lift our hands in worship, yes, but also in surrender. That posture matters. God works through yielded vessels. He will not force what we refuse to surrender.

Moses is one of the clearest biblical pictures of this. He was not down in the valley swinging a sword. He stood with his hands raised, and as long as his hands remained lifted, Israel prevailed. When he grew weary, Aaron and Hur held his arms up. Victory was tied to a posture of dependence and submission before God.

There is a message in that for us. Some battles are not won first by human force, but by alignment. By worship. By agreement. By refusing independence from the One who already secured the victory.

We are not fighting for victory. We are fighting from the place of victory.

What This Ministry Has Been About From the Beginning

For those trying to understand the nature of this assignment, it has always been prophetic, pastoral and governmental in the Spirit. This work began as a war call during the tyranny of COVID. For years the focus was rising in spiritual authority, using the Word of God to call nations back into alignment, and contending against corruption, fear, and control.

Then came seasons of personal strengthening. Healing. Deliverance. Forgiveness. Learning how not just to talk about laying burdens at the cross, but actually how to do it so people walk free.

And now, again, the season is turning toward prayer, decrees, discernment, and national intercession. That is not a contradiction. That is training for the hour. God strengthens His people privately so He can use them publicly.

A Special Burden for Canada

This particular burden is for Canada, though the implications reach beyond our borders. America needs a strong and righteous neighbor to the north just as we have prayed for strength and justice in the United States. What happens in one nation affects the others.

Canada is at a crossroads. Corruption here is not theoretical. It is entrenched. The justice system has become, in many cases, an injustice system. Media propaganda is normalized. Christian conviction is treated as extremism. Biblical truth is openly pushed out of public life. Laws and policies hostile to righteousness are gaining ground while many churches remain passive, silent, or asleep.

And yet this is not the hour to despair. This is the hour to discern the cracks in the structure and drive the wedge of prayer into them.

The Remnant Is Being Stitched Together

One of the words released for this season is that God is preparing and gathering a remnant. Not just in one city, one stream, or one nation, but across the earth. Pieces of the remnant, many of whom do not yet know one another, are beginning to move in concert.

That matters because God rarely needs the majority to begin. He needs agreement. He needs yieldedness. He needs people who will hear, obey, and speak what He says.

There is also a promise over 2026 that God will stitch together the pieces of His remnant like a coat of many colors. That means what has seemed scattered will not remain scattered forever. God is weaving something together with intention.

Five Prayer Assignments for This Hour

A prophetic word over Canada brought unusual clarity, and it aligns with what many of us have already been praying. It gives us prayer targets. Not vague emotion, but specific assignments.

1. Pray for spiritual awakening

Revival will not begin merely on large platforms. It will ignite in hidden places, in homes, in small gatherings, among the forgotten, among young people, among those hungry for something real. True awakening begins with encounter.

Pray for:

  • fresh fire across the nation
  • genuine encounters with the living God
  • the veil to be lifted from hearts and minds
  • cities and remote regions alike to be swept by the Spirit

2. Pray against division and silent wounds

Canada is hurting quietly. Many smile outwardly while carrying deep pain inwardly. Isolation, rejection, loneliness, and offense are all weapons the enemy uses to fragment communities and weaken resolve.

Pray for:

  • healing from inner wounds
  • the breaking of offense and bitterness
  • peacemakers to arise
  • Spirit-led unity, not artificial uniformity

3. Pray for leadership and government

Some leaders are standing at a crossroads. Some are compromised. Some are confused. Some are under pressures unseen. But this is precisely why intercession matters. If there are fractures in unrighteous political structures, prayer can widen them.

When dissent appears in a corrupt system, that is not random noise. It is often a prayer point. It is a fissure. And as any Canadian who has felled a tree understands, once there is a crack, a wedge can be driven in until the whole thing comes down.

Pray for:

  • wisdom, courage, and integrity for leaders
  • conviction to fall on compromised officials
  • truth to expose fraud, coercion, and hidden agendas
  • righteous voices to rise with humility and boldness

4. Pray for the church to awaken

Too many churches have grown comfortable. Too many pulpits avoid the issues of the day. Too many leaders have settled for safe messages while the culture burns. But the Lord is calling His Church out of slumber.

Pray that the church move:

  • from passive to prophetic
  • from silent to influential
  • from divided to united in the Spirit
  • from religious routine to holy fire

5. Pray for a shift in the atmosphere

Prayer changes things in the unseen realm before they manifest in the visible one. The unseen is more real than the seen. A sincere, passionate praying people can shift heaviness, oppression, and confusion over regions.

Every prayer is a seed. Every intercession is a weapon. Every cry to heaven moves something.

It May Look Like Defeat, But It Is Not as It Appears

That phrase matters in this hour: it may look like. It may look like defeat. It may look like darkness is consolidating power. It may look like truth is losing ground. But appearance is not final reality.

The enemy thrives on optics. God works in covenant. And covenant is stronger than headlines.

When we worship, when we pray, when we decree in agreement with the Word of God, we are not pretending. We are activating covenant. The message goes to heaven through our voice. Prayer is how we call upon the resources of our covenant partner.

God has said, in effect, partner with Me in prayer. That is an invitation. Do not wait for things to get worse before you respond. Do not assume someone else will carry the burden. This is a national call to intercede.

Canada’s Prophetic Destiny Still Stands

There is a promise over this land. Canada has been reserved for a special end-time purpose. It is a covenant nation, and though many are trying to scrub that memory from public life, heaven has not forgotten it.

The calling is not small. Canada is meant to carry healing to the nations. But you cannot export what you do not possess. That is why revival, righteousness, and restoration at home matter first.

This includes spiritual healing, but also the restoration of what has been stolen. Industries shut down. Resources handed over. National strength deliberately weakened. These things are not merely economic talking points. They are part of a larger battle over sovereignty, stewardship, and destiny.

So we continue to decree:

  • Canada will be saved
  • Canada will be healed
  • Canada will fulfill her God-ordained assignment
  • righteous governance will arise

I need an image of the convergence of four winds in a circular pattern where the winds are converging:

    - Winds of change
    - Winds of judgment
    - Winds of restoration
    - Winds of cleansing

In the center of the circle, a burning inferno of holy fire. On either side of the circle, the left and right sides of the Red Sea flank it. On the towers or wall of the Red Sea, one side reads “Judgment,” the other side reads “Blessing.” A headline reads, “Let the Great and Terrible Day Begin.”

  • the Church will awaken
  • truth and justice will prevail

How to Respond Practically

This does not require a microphone or a platform. It requires agreement and obedience.

You can begin with simple faithfulness:

  • pray while driving, walking, or making coffee
  • turn off the noise and give God your attention
  • ask for eyes to see the true battle lines
  • refuse to amplify false narratives
  • worship before you war
  • speak life, truth, and covenant promises over your nation

This is how we fight our battles. With praise. With worship. With discernment. With decrees rooted in Scripture. With hands lifted in surrender and voices activated in prayer.

And yes, with confidence that what God has promised, He will perform.

Do Not Lose Hope and Do Not Stay Silent

The Lord has not forgotten Canada. He has not forgotten America. He has not forgotten Israel. He is still moving in uncertainty, in tension, in national upheaval, and in the midst of systems exposing themselves.

There is a remnant rising. Fire is being lit. Purpose has not been lost.

So do not lose hope. And do not stay silent.
