Momentous May:  It's Time To Smash The Trophy Case And Round Up The Rats

Apr 30, 2026 • 8 min read

April 30, 2026. Some mornings, the assignment is not to push harder. It is to praise harder. There is a difference. There are days when the Lord says, “War,” and there are days when He says, “Worship.” This was one of those mornings where the instruction was simple: take it easy, slow down, praise Me, and let My people pray what is burning in their hearts.

That may sound small, but it is not small at all. Praise is not a warm-up. Worship is not filler. It is government. It is alignment. It is how we command the morning and bring our hearts, minds, and mouths into agreement with heaven.

Start With Praise, Not Panic

The day began where it always should begin, in the presence of God. Psalm 150 sets the tone perfectly: praise Him in the sanctuary, praise Him for His mighty acts, praise Him with trumpet, harp, tambourine, strings, flutes, and loud clashing cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

That matters because too many believers begin the day reacting to the earth when we were called to respond from heaven. Before the headlines, before the demands, before the messages that need answers, we are invited to remember who sits on the throne.

And from that place, prayer becomes clearer.

The Lord’s Prayer Is a Governmental Prayer

When Jesus taught us to pray, He did not give us a religious script. He gave us a kingdom blueprint.

Father, Your name be the center of our lives. Manifest Your kingdom realm. Cause every purpose of Yours to be fulfilled in the earth.

That is not passive language. That is active agreement. It is a prayer that acknowledges heaven has intent for the earth and that we, as sons and daughters, have been invited to speak into that intent.

There was also a needed reminder in this prayer: God is our provider. Not the job. Not the pension. Not the paycheck. Those may be channels, but they are not the source. The source is always God. Every dollar that has ever passed through your hands came through a channel, that came from Him.

That shift alone will steady a lot of people. When the channel shakes, you do not have to panic if you know the Source has not moved.

When the Flow of the Spirit Costs You Something

There was a very honest moment that needs to be said plainly because many in ministry and intercession will understand it immediately: sometimes the outpouring is glorious and exhausting at the same time.

When the Holy Spirit is moving with intensity day after day, it is beautiful. It is also costly. There is a physical toll in yielding to that flow consistently. Rising early, contending in prayer, ministering, writing, editing, responding, carrying burdens, serving the community, and doing it again the next day can leave a person completely spent.

That is not complaint. That is stewardship. It is important to say it because some believers falsely imagine that obedience means never admitting weakness. Not so. Sometimes obedience means recognizing when the Lord says, “Today, worship. Today, rest in My presence. Today, don’t drive at an 11 out of 10.”

If you are tired from the fight, hear that clearly. Rest is not retreat. A praise day is not a wasted day.

The Battle Is Real, but So Is Access to Heaven

A strong exhortation came through a clip from Amanda Grace, and the core of it was this: the kingdom of darkness is strategic, disciplined, and intentional. The church cannot afford to remain naive, shallow, or distracted by surface-level noise.

That message struck a nerve because it put words to something many are sensing. The enemy does not merely stumble into influence. He schemes, plants, aligns, and exploits. Yet the church has something infinitely greater than dark strategy. We have access to the throne of the Almighty.

So the question becomes: if darkness is diligent with counterfeit power, why would the people of God be casual with the real thing?

We need wisdom. Discernment. Persistence. Perception. We need eyes to see beyond appearances and ears to hear what the Spirit is saying in this hour.

Smash the Trophy Case

One of the strongest images of the morning was the call to smash the trophy case.

What is the trophy case?  It is that strange collection of

  • wounds
  • traumas
  • disappointments
  • sickness
  • family histories
  • old identities

that people keep polishing and displaying.

It becomes the place they live from instead of the place they were healed from. Many believers keep reaching for the old crutch because it feels familiar. But God is not calling His people to preserve brokenness as identity. He is calling them to bring everything to the cross, leave it there, and stop picking it back up.

That means:

  • Stop introducing yourself through pain.
  • Stop building your safety around old wounds.
  • Stop rehearsing captivity as though it is your covering.
  • Let God become your stability.

If the trophy case remains intact, people return to it every time pressure rises. But if it is smashed, there is nowhere left to go except into the presence and power of God.

Submission Is Not Weakness

Another key thought was the difference between worldly power and kingdom strength. In the world, submission is often treated as weakness. In the kingdom, submission to God is one of the greatest strengths a person can walk in.

Why? Because when you are in His will, you are standing in a power and authority no demonic system can ultimately overcome.

This applies to leaders, nations, churches, and individual believers. The Lord is calling His people to a deeper obedience, not as humiliation, but as empowerment.

There Is a Great Shifting Happening

The atmosphere of the morning carried a strong sense that major spiritual and geopolitical shifts are underway. There was discussion of global power structures, the breaking of old systems, and the belief that hidden controls are being exposed and dismantled.

Particular attention was given to the symbolic and legal significance of recent movements involving Britain, America, and what was described as the unraveling of admiralty or maritime control structures. Whether seen through prophetic symbolism, legal interpretation, or both, the emphasis was clear: the old order is weakening, and a transfer is underway.

There was also strong confidence expressed that Canada’s freedom is coming, that America is in a visible season of acceleration, and that what has looked delayed is not denied. The phrase used repeatedly was that rapid acceleration is here now.

Project Uncover the Rats

Then came a prophetic word with vivid language: Project Uncover the Rats.

The image was simple and unforgettable. Things hidden in darkness are being brought into the light. Corruption, collusion, media manipulation, political compromise, and criminal protection networks are being exposed. The “rats” are those who have thrived in secrecy, believing they would never be held accountable.

The prayer was not merely for vague justice. It was specific:

  • Let hidden things be exposed.
  • Let the guilty turn on one another.
  • Let evidence come to light.
  • Let righteous judgment and true accountability come.

The expectation is that this exposure will create chaos among corrupt systems, because darkness does not know how to behave once the hiding places are stripped away.

There was a phrase attached to this season: Momentous May. The sense was that the coming days would bring increased exposure, increased pressure on hidden networks, and increased need for the ecclesia to pray boldly and specifically.

The Prophets Point, but the Ecclesia Must Decree

One of the most practical teachings of the morning was this: the prophetic word points, but the people of God must agree with it and call it forth.

That means believers cannot remain spectators. If God says something is being released, His people must respond in prayer, decree, and agreement. The room itself became a picture of that as people who had been silent for years began to pray aloud, call forth justice, and declare restoration.

That growth matters. It is proof that God is bringing people out of fear and into function.

Then came one of the clearest practical frameworks of the morning, and it is worth holding onto.

Many people remain bound because they have unknowingly given the enemy legal ground through agreement. That agreement often comes through the mouth. Phrases like “my sickness,” “my anxiety,” “my fear,” and similar confessions can reinforce the very bondage a person wants broken.

The way out was explained in two simple steps:

  1. Repent for the agreement or sin.
  2. Renounce it to break the legal agreement.

Repentance brings forgiveness. Renouncing breaks agreement.

Examples included:

  • “I repent for agreeing with fear.”
  • “I renounce agreement with sickness.”
  • “I repent for partnering with doubt.”
  • “I renounce agreement with lust, shame, or despair.”

This was not presented as religious formula but as spiritual truth. The enemy looks for agreement. Break the agreement, and his legal footing weakens.

When You Speak, It Is as Though He Spoke

That may be the boldest line of the whole morning, and yet it was brought front and center again and again: when you speak in alignment with Him, it is as though He spoke it.

Not because human beings are sovereign, but because authority has been delegated. God is looking for sons and daughters who will open their mouths and say what He is saying.

That is why the call was so strong to get comfortable with the uncomfortable. If speaking life, truth, justice, or freedom feels awkward, practice anyway. Decree anyway. Pray anyway. Agreement with heaven becomes easier the more you do it.

And for many, that is the season now. Silent believers are becoming vocal. Passive believers are becoming governmental in prayer. Timid people are learning to stand in delegated authority.

A New Kairos Moment Is Forming

The closing sense of the morning was not fatigue, not fear, and not frustration. It was expectation.

There is a synchronization of heaven and earth taking place. Levies are breaking. Long-held restrictions are expiring. Breakthrough is reaching a crescendo. Hidden structures are being shaken. And the people of God are being called to arise and enforce what Christ has already won.

This is not the hour to shrink back. It is the hour to praise, repent, renounce, decree, and stand.

So command your morning. Enter His gates with thanksgiving. Enter His courts with praise. Smash the trophy case. Leave the crutch at the cross. Break agreement with the old thing. And call forth what you cannot yet see, because in the kingdom, faithful speech is not pretending. It is partnering.
