May 14, 2026. There are mornings when all you can do is praise, and there are mornings when praise becomes a battle cry. This is one of those days. We are in what I have been calling Momentous May, a season of miracle movement, seismic shifts, and visible evidence that things are changing before our very eyes. The Lion of the tribe of Judah is on the move, and He is moving because a faithful remnant has chosen to stand, pray, decree, and refuse to surrender the ground God has assigned to them.
Praise First, Always
Before strategy, before headlines, before analysis, there must be worship. Not performance. Not religious routine. Not spiritual entertainment. Real praise.
The heart posture matters. God is not looking for spectators sitting stiffly at a distance. He is looking for people who come as living sacrifices, who say, “Lord, here I am.” He is the safest place to fall. He is the One we call when we cannot stand. And when we remember that, something shifts in us before anything shifts around us.
That is where authority begins. It begins in surrender.
There Is Power in Your Voice
One of the great truths believers need to get deep into their bones is this: there is power in your voice.
God created the heavens with a word. The universe continues to expand because He spoke, and that word has not been told to stop. We were made in His image and likeness. That means words matter. They shape atmospheres. They reinforce agreements. They set things in motion.
And yes, that cuts both ways.
Words aligned with God’s purposes carry life. Words spoken in fear, unbelief, compromise, or rebellion carry consequences too. The mercy of God is that He gives us a way to break agreement with what should never have been spoken. We can repent. We can realign. We can reset.
That is why commanding the day is not hype. It is alignment. It is agreeing with heaven before the noise of earth gets the first word.
- Command the day to align with God’s plans and purposes.
- Decree that no weapon formed against you will prosper.
- Override demonic agendas and establish divine order.
- Call for grace, mercy, peace, and favor to follow you.
This is not about pretending there is no conflict. It is about legislating from the place of dominion God already gave.
The Lesson of the Twelve Spies: Why Words Delay Promises
The story in Numbers remains one of the clearest warnings in Scripture about the destructive force of unbelieving speech.
God told Israel to send spies into the land He had already given them. That part matters. The promise was settled before the report came back. Yet ten men returned speaking contrary to the word of God, and their language infected an entire generation. Ten voices, full of fear and contradiction, delayed a nation for forty years.
That is staggering.
Not because God changed His mind, but because people agreed with a different narrative.
The promise remained on the table. The delay was real, but the promise was not revoked.
That is a word for many people right now. If God made you a promise, do not let delay teach you to speak against what He said. His promise is still alive. His word has not failed. What matters now is whether your mouth agrees with heaven or with the intimidation of the moment.
Why Numbers 15 Still Matters
Numbers 15 can feel tedious at first glance. Grain offerings, drink offerings, specific measurements, repeated instructions. But the point is not merely ritual detail. The point is that holiness under the old covenant was exacting, weighty, and impossible to maintain through casual effort.
That chapter ends by pointing to remembrance. God instructed His people to place tassels on the corners of their garments so they would remember His commandments and not wander after their own desires. It was a visual reminder: do not forget who you belong to, and do not forget how you are called to live.
Jesus fulfilled the sacrificial system, but He did not erase the heart of God’s commands. He reduced the law to its essence:
- Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength.
- Love your neighbor as yourself.
If those two are truly alive in you, the Ten Commandments are not a burden. They become the natural fruit of rightly ordered love. If a people would simply return to God’s ways, much of the chaos consuming modern nations would begin to collapse.
Consider what it would mean if a nation truly lived this way:
No other gods before Him - No idols - No careless use of His name - A remembered Sabbath - Honor for father and mother - No murder - No adultery - No stealing - No false witness - No coveting
This is not abstract morality. This is the architecture of a healthy civilization.
And idolatry is not limited to carved statues. Anything exalted above obedience becomes an idol. Anything we consistently choose over conviction becomes a rival altar.
When God Cuts Off What Holds You Back
There is another hard but necessary truth. Sometimes God isolates the people He is calling deeper.
That can feel lonely until you understand what He is doing. He is not abandoning you. He is cutting off anchors, naysayers, and relationships that would keep you small, compromised, or constantly second-guessing obedience. Many who are called into something weighty walk through a season of separation first.
If you have felt misunderstood, set apart, or removed from circles that once seemed central, do not assume you have been forgotten. It may be that God is clearing space around your calling so you can move without the drag of constant contradiction.
When Christ becomes your closest companion, the fear of loneliness loses its power.
Seismic Shifts in the Earth Realm
We are also living in a moment of major geopolitical upheaval. Trade realignments, leadership shifts, financial turbulence, intelligence leaks, and restructuring in global power centers are no small things. They are signs that old systems are under pressure.
The argument being made is clear: the structures many have accepted as permanent are not permanent at all. Political, financial, and media institutions that looked untouchable are showing cracks. Leaks are being investigated. old alliances are wobbling. new ones are surfacing. The language of exposure, justice, and realignment is no longer confined to the fringe. It is moving into public view.
Whether in America, Canada, or across the nations, the prayer remains the same: Lord, expose what is corrupt, remove what is wicked, and establish what is righteous.
Recalibrating the Rigged Scales
One of the strongest themes for this hour is that God is recalibrating rigged scales.
A dishonest scale is an abomination because it creates the illusion of fairness while producing injustice. That applies not only to economics and the judicial system, but to leadership, media, religion, and public life. When scales are rigged, outcomes are manipulated before the measurement even begins.
God’s answer is recalibration.
That means:
- Exposing hidden motives
- Bringing corruption into the light
- Removing authority from those who abuse it
- Entrusting stewardship to the humble, just, and obedient
This is why judgment begins in the house of God. The Lord is not merely confronting political corruption. He is also confronting spiritual pride, ego, manipulation, and false authority among those who claim to speak for Him.
He will not be mocked. Power misused will not remain in the hands of the self-serving forever.
God Is Not Looking for Politicians
This may be one of the most liberating thoughts of all: God is not looking for polished politicians. He is looking for people after His heart.
Too many have been conditioned to believe public authority belongs only to professionals, insiders, and career operatives. But Scripture tells a different story. God consistently chooses those who will obey Him over those who merely know how systems work.
If the old systems are corrupt at the root, then expertise in corruption is not a qualification. It is a liability.
He is looking for kings and priests. People who can serve, discern, legislate in prayer, and walk in humility. People who hate evil more than they crave position.
Restoration, Recovery, and Increase
This remains the declaration: we are in a season of restoration, recovery, and increase.
That does not mean every promise manifests overnight. It means the structures that blocked, delayed, stole, and burdened are being confronted. Cause and effect are already in motion. The cleanup may happen in stages, but it is happening.
So do not covet what is not yet in your hand. Do not surrender to despair because your personal circumstances have not fully shifted yet. Stay aligned. Stay consecrated. Stay vocal in faith. The same God who brought Israel out, parted seas, and kept covenant through generations has not run out of power.
Nothing is impossible for Him.
A Consecrated People Can Change a Nation
The call now is simple and weighty at the same time. Remember His commands. Consecrate yourself. Use your voice. Pray over your nation. Refuse compromise. Stand against evil, not merely for the lesser version of it. Ask God for justice, mercy, truth, and divine order.
And above all, know Him. Not merely as doctrine. Not merely as memory. Not merely as something read about in a book. Know Him, Jesus, by direct encounter, by obedience, by history with Him, by prayer, by deliverance, by correction, by answered cries, and by the unmistakable nearness of His presence.
That kind of knowledge creates unshakable people. And unshakable people become a force in shaking times.
