We're Not Getting Revival: We're Being Reformed

I want to speak plainly and passionately about what the Lord is stirring: a restoration of holiness, a personal revival in each heart, and then a corporate reformation that will reshape communities and nations. This is a word to awaken the remnant, to sharpen your faith, and to put spiritual tools back in your hands.
Prayer, Purity, and the Call to Holiness
We begin with a prayer for holiness because holiness is the soil from which revival grows. The Lord is calling his people to be set apart. That means repentance from compromise, renewed hunger for Scripture, and a refusal to let the world shape our character.
Practical first steps:
- Confess areas where compromise has crept in and ask God to purge them.
- Reignite a daily hunger for God’s Word — not as information but as life-changing truth.
- Press into worship and community that insist on integrity, not performance.
Revival vs Reformation — Know the Difference
People talk about revival like it’s a public event you wait to experience. The Lord corrected that notion: revival is first personal. When you are revived — refreshed, healed, warmed, set on fire — that ignites a new character in you. When many personally revived people come together in unity, a reformation happens. That reformation is structural and societal. It reforms homes, churches, institutions, and nations.
Think of revival as the spark and reformation as the fire that reshapes everything in its path. I’m not calling you to relive past moves of God. I’m calling you to step into a brand new thing He is doing — a reformation unlike what we’ve seen before.
Wake Up: The Role of the Church
If the church is weak, the nation will follow. I blame the sleeping church for much of the complacency we see. Where there is a weak message, people stay weak. Where there is truth proclaimed in love and courage, righteousness will begin to push back the darkness.
It’s time to stop fitting in and start changing the status quo. You were not made to blend into the world. You were made to be a holy remnant that calls things back to God’s design.
Practical Warfare: How We Push Back
Prophetic words and prayer are not passive. We resist the enemy with spiritual weapons — the Word of God, prayer, praise, and believing faith. Here are actionable disciplines that will change your spiritual posture:
- Set an altar: An altar is not a piece of furniture. It’s a consecrated place where you meet God. Call a place in your home, car, or office your altar and expect God to meet you there.
- Declare truth boldly: Speak Scripture out loud. Decrees and declarations align heaven and earth and provoke change.
- Choose belief: Belief is a decision. Choose to believe God’s promises, even when your feelings or circumstances say otherwise.
- Stand in unity: When a few faithful people gather in one accord, heaven aligns and the tipping point begins.
The Power of a Consecrated Place
When you set aside a place and call it sacred, you are creating a doorway between heaven and earth. Bring worship, Scripture, and expectation to that place. Expect the Word to leap off the page. Expect the Holy Spirit to speak. Expect encounters that reshape your day and your decisions.
Belief Is a Choice — Not a Special Anointing
Some think miracles belong only to a few. That’s not true. I don’t have a secret anointing. I have a practice of choosing to believe, again and again. Belief grows as you practice it. It is a muscle. It strengthens with use.
Make a daily habit of declaring simple promises from Scripture. Watch for small confirmations. Each one will build your courage to believe the next miracle.
Expect Shaking — Embrace the Great and Terrible Day
We’re heading into a season of shaking. The Lord will shake the heavens, the earth, and economies. That shaking removes what has been propping up corrupt systems so righteousness can be restored. Don’t fear the shake. Fortify yourself in God’s promises so you are not surprised.
When systems crumble — banks, supply chains, social norms — you will be ready if you’ve already learned to trust Jehovah Jireh as your provider and Jehovah Elohim as your protector. The Lord protects those who make Him their refuge.
Remnants Rising — Stitching a Coat of Many Colors
God is raising remnants across nations. They have been hidden, sheltered, and now they are being stitched together. You may have been hidden for a season. Now you are being found and connected to others who will stand with you.
To the remnant: prepare to be known. Prepare to serve. Prepare to speak truth in love. Your courage will be contagious, and as you walk together, you will reshape your neighborhoods and beyond.
Practical Habits for Every Day
- Start the day with a short consecration: claim your day, your steps, your words for God.
- Declare Psalm 91 over your family, and expect angelic protection over your ways.
- Use the name of Jesus boldly against darkness — it is the authority given to you.
- Keep a rhythm of worship that invites God’s presence to inhabit your days.
Testimony — Why I Believe
I know these things are real because I have seen God move in crisis. When my family faced medical devastation, we chose belief and fought in prayer. God restored mind and body in ways that only He could do. But these were not one liner disposable prayers. They were seasons of pressing and believing. 7 Years to be exact. Those stories are not meant to elevate me; they are meant to encourage you that the same God is alive, active, and compassionate toward those who trust Him.

This is for those who will choose to be different: stop watching from the sidelines. Join the fight. Speak truth with love. Establish altars. Choose belief. Expect God. When the shaking comes, stand firm. You are not alone; you are covered under His wings, and the angels are assigned to guard your way when you call on His name.
