Leave the Success to Me: With Your Obedience, Canada’s Day Coming

Jan 16, 2026 • 4 min read

2026-01-16 — I want to speak directly to you today, as one who has leaned into seasons of waiting, confusion, and unexpected breakthrough. This is a message about surrender, about obedience over outcomes, and about how we—together—stand for justice, the protection of our nation, and the restoration of Godly peace across Canada.

The posture I’m calling you to

It begins with a simple but powerful instruction I’ve heard from the Father: I haven’t called you to be successful. I’ve called you to be obedient. Leave the success to me.

Obedience is not passive. It is a posture. It means stepping out even when you don’t have all the answers, speaking when you feel inadequate, and doing what you’re asked to do even if the result is beyond your control. When we confuse our responsibility to obey with responsibility for results, we become discouraged or prideful. The work we are given is to respond to the prompting of the Spirit and to walk in humility.

From eagles circling to a clarion call

Yesterday I got a sign that stirred the heart: a congregation of at least 16 Bald Eagles circling directly above my home. I don’t share that as superstition but as an image—God’s eagles rising, a reminder that those who surrender fully will find rest and vantage under the shadow of the Almighty. The invitation is to trust and to obey; the Holy Spirit will provide the rest and the results.

Practical obedience: making the calls that matter

We have been mobilizing people to contact members of Parliament and provincial leaders voicing strong oppostition to legislation that threatens freedom of conscience and the integrity of our institutions. Thousands of calls went out in a single day. Some of you reached answering machines; some spoke directly to staffers. The pattern was clear: the more people made the calls, the easier and more effective it became.  We continue for another 11 days.

Here are simple steps if you want to join in:

  • Get a short script—use it as a guideline, but let the Spirit lead you to speak plainly.
  • Be persistent—many calls will go to voicemail. Leave a clear, calm message.
  • Keep perspective—your job is to speak; the Lord handles the outcome. Leave the success to Him.
  • Work in community—we’re flooding phone lines together. That amplifies influence and reduces fear.

When life feels like Job's day: worship as response

We read Job chapter one together because his reaction gives us a template for suffering: he awoke, he lost everything in a single day, and yet his first posture was worship. His words—"The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord"—teach us to lament without accusing God unjustly. You can ask God hard questions. You can feel confusion and grievance. But don’t trade worship for accusation.

When calamity comes, getting on your face in worship is not surrender to fate; it is an act of faith that keeps the heart aligned with the One who brings restoration, and who promises to restore “double for your trouble” when we remain faithful.

Confronting policies, protecting resources, praying for justice

There are real political and economic issues before us: trade deals, resource pipelines, foreign procurement policies, and appointments that speak openly of a "new world order." These are not abstract concerns. They affect jobs, sovereignty, and the legacy of the land we steward.

Our response combines practical action (calling representatives, engaging civic processes) and spiritual action (binding injustice in prayer, calling for accountability in heaven). Prayer is not a substitute for participation—it activates God’s power and aligns our efforts with His justice.

Prayer points you can use

  • Pray for discernment for leaders and staffers—so they see truth before they vote.
  • Pray for protection over natural resources and that wealth flows to the people, not foreign control.
  • Pray for whistleblowers—boldness, protection, and exposure of corruption where it exists.
  • Pray for indigenous communities to be awakened to wisdom and justice, and for rightful stewardship of the land.

A prophetic picture: peace settling over Canada

Alongside calls to contend, there is a strong prophetic word we hold: peace is coming, settling over this land like morning dew. This is not fragile calm but a deep, God-originated restoration that moves from coast to coast, from communities to families and churches.

That peace begins in the hearts of God’s people. It looks like families talking instead of shouting, leaders pausing for wisdom, churches trading performance for presence, and neighborhoods seeing healing instead of chaos.

How to plug in and remain strong

We are a community in a season that requires both action and endurance. Here’s how to stay engaged without burning out:

  1. Do the small things faithfully: a call, a short prayer, showing up in unity.
  2. Keep short spiritual rhythms: worship, scripture, and quiet before the Lord when decisions feel heavy.
  3. Partner with others: obedience is lighter when we move together—phone campaigns, prayer gatherings, and shared communion.
  4. Trust the Lord with results: obey, then let God be God. Your responsibility is faithfulness, not outcomes.

Final charge

I sense we have shifted something by choosing obedience over anxiety. If you are weary, remember Job: worship first, then watch God work. If you are unsure what to say on a call, speak plainly, speak from your heart, and leave the results with the Lord. If you want to see justice and restoration in Canada, do both the practical and the spiritual: act publicly and pray fervently.

Together we stand in faith. Together we will see restoration—industries rebuilt, truth exposed, leaders humbled, and peace settling over the land. Obedience is our currency. Leave the success to Him.
