I Know You Can But Will You?  Come Out Come Out Wherever You Are!

May 4, 2026 • 7 min read

May 4, 2026. There is a word burning in my spirit that I cannot soften down, polish up, or package neatly, and it is this: a whole lot of people know what God can do, but far fewer are willing to step into what He says will happen through them. That is the divide. That is the issue. Not ability. Not access. Not even authority. The real question is willingness.

God’s power is already in you, but it is activated by trust

We love to quote Ephesians 3:20. God will do exceedingly and abundantly above all we can ask, think, or imagine. Amen. Yes. Absolutely. But we often stop there and turn it into a nice encouragement instead of a summons.

The promise is not meant to leave us inspired for five minutes and unchanged by tomorrow morning. The promise is meant to move us. God’s power operates in us, but many never see that power expressed because they remain parked in the place of safety, familiarity, and control.

That is why surrender matters so much. It is not by your might. It is not by your strength. It is not by your brilliance, your planning, or your comfort level. It is by the Spirit of the living God.

You will not see your “walk on water” moment while clinging to the boat. At some point, trust has to become movement.

Come out of the comfortable place

There is a call from heaven going out right now: Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Come out of passive Christianity. Come out of fear. Come out of waiting for the perfect conditions. Come out of that place where everything feels manageable but nothing is changing.

Many people think comfort equals safety. It does not. If you are stuck, stagnant, and ruled by fear, that “safe” place is not safe at all. It is a trap.

God often asks for one simple act of obedience. One step. Six inches beyond the line of comfort. That is where faith begins to breathe. That is where the partnership between your obedience and His power becomes visible.

Abraham did not get a full map. He got a command. Leave. Go. Trust Me. The land would be shown to him in God’s timing, not his own. That is still how the Lord works. He prepares you, forms you, and then brings you into the place of destiny, often before you even realize how far He has carried you.

You can do it. But will you?

I used to tell executives after leadership training sessions, “I know you can do this.” And they would nod enthusiastically. But then I would say the part that mattered most: “Just because you can does not mean you will.  You can either start employing what I've taught you or can can just waste these last three days and everything you paid me."

That same truth applies in the Kingdom.

Jesus said, “The things you have seen Me do, you also will do.” That settles what is possible. The issue now is response.

  • You can pray boldly.
  • You can speak truth.
  • You can resist fear.
  • You can exercise authority.
  • You can obey when the Spirit prompts you.

But will you?

That is where the Christian life stops being theoretical. “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” is not wall decor. It is a decision. I serve the Lord not merely by admiring His words, but by doing them.

The world is at a breaking point, and that is not bad news

A lot of people are staring at the turmoil in the nations and asking what on earth is happening. Prices are rising. alliances are shifting. political systems are rattling. the whole earth feels unstable.

But the Lord’s perspective is different. He says, I am bringing things to the breaking point.

Why? Because what is corrupted must be broken before it can be rebuilt. What is rooted in control, manipulation, and wickedness must be uprooted before anything righteous can be planted in its place.

This is the pattern of Amos 9 and so much of the prophetic witness of Scripture. Tear down. Uproot. Overthrow. Then build and replant.

We are living in a time of shaking. God is shaking systems, nations, and structures so that the only thing left standing is His unshakable Kingdom. That should not terrify the people of God. It should steady us.

If you belong to Jesus Christ, you are not standing on sinking sand. You are part of an unshakable Kingdom under the rule of an invincible King.

Keep your perspective biblical

When the headlines get loud, return to the basic questions.

  • Who is God? He is.
  • Who wins between God and Satan? God does.
  • Who has victory through Christ? We do.

Satan is not an equal opposite to God. He is a defeated liar. He traffics in intimidation, deception, accusation, and fear. He blusters, but he has no ultimate authority over the blood-bought people of God.

Our assignment as the ecclesia is not to panic at darkness. It is to enforce Christ’s victory in the earth.

Stop apologizing for what you carry

There are many who have felt a prompting from God to speak, move, build, pray, confront, or lead, but they have held back because of what people might think.

Hear this clearly: you were never meant to fit in.  In fact, the people in our Ekklesia are a group of mis-fits, who found a place to fit!

The remnant never fits comfortably inside the systems God intends to disrupt. Gideon’s army was reduced, not expanded. David’s mighty men were not the polished majority. Jehoshaphat did not win by matching strength with strength. Again and again, God chooses the yielded, the faithful, the ones willing to move with Him.

This is why the remnant matters. God is not looking for crowds impressed by possibility. He is looking for people who will move in faith.

Authority is real, but agreement matters

One of the most important truths believers need to understand is that the spiritual realm is legal in nature. Christ has won the victory once and for all through His blood, and Colossians 2:14 makes it plain that the record of debt against us has been canceled at the cross.

Not merely covered. Not merely delayed. Canceled.

And even stronger than that, the accusation has no legal standing. The enemy loves to remind people of sin, failure, shame, and old wounds. He brings accusations and hopes you will agree with them.

That is the trap.

When fear speaks and you come into agreement with it, you hand over legal ground. But when accusation comes and you answer with the blood of Jesus Christ, the enemy’s case collapses.

This is why your words matter so much. The Kingdom is voice-activated. God spoke the world into being, made you in His image, and gave you a voice. So use it.

Say it plainly:

  • I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my life.
  • I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my family.
  • I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over my home, my health, my mind, and my work.
  • I do not agree with fear.
  • I do not agree with accusation.
  • There is no record of the record against me because of the cross.

Command the morning

Job 38 asks a piercing question: Have you commanded the morning since your days began?

God is not asking because He lacks information. He asks to awaken responsibility. Every day is a gate. If the people of God do not take hold of the day and bring it into alignment with heaven, something else will try to claim it.

This is why commanding the morning matters. Not as religious performance, but as spiritual government.

Take hold of the day early. Decree that it belongs to the Lord. Command every agenda not planted by God to be uprooted, torn down, destroyed, and overthrown. Call forth His peace, His purpose, His favor, His angelic assistance, His provision, and His order.

You do not need a microphone. You do not need to sound dramatic. But you do need to agree with heaven out loud.

The authority rises as you begin to use it.

Faith moves God, not complaint

There is a hard truth here, and it is a liberating one: faith pleases God. Complaint does not. Endless tears without trust do not. Fearful analysis does not.

Faith does.

That does not mean denying pressure. It means refusing to enthrone it. It means looking at the mountain and speaking to it. It means telling fear to leave. It means deciding that if God said it, then you will believe it, and if you believe it, you will move accordingly.

That is the turning point for many people. Not when they hear one more encouraging message, but when they finally say, “If God said it, then I’m going to act like it’s true.”

We are in a time of shaking, rebuilding, and sudden acceleration

There is a convergence taking place. Nations are shaking. Systems are straining. Hidden structures are being exposed. And for the people of God, this is not the moment to retreat into timid spirituality. This is the moment to rise.

Scripture says it will happen so fast your head will swim. But before rebuilding comes breaking. Before replanting comes uprooting. If you understand that, you will stop interpreting every disruption as defeat.

Some things are falling apart because God intends to remove what cannot remain.

And through all of it, He is strengthening a remnant people who know their God and therefore will do mighty exploits.

So here is the question again

I know you can.

You can trust Him. You can speak. You can obey. You can command your morning. You can resist the enemy. You can move in faith. You can stop apologizing for what God put in you. You can become the one who steps out first, even when others hesitate.

But will you?

If you trust Him, start moving like you mean it. Fix your eyes on the Invincible One. Refuse intimidation. Speak to the mountain. Plead the blood. Take hold of the day. And believe that God really will do exceedingly and abundantly beyond all you can ask, think, or imagine, according to His power that operates within you.
