Fortify Your Faith as Darkness Is Exposed

Feb 24, 2026 • 5 min read

2026-02-23 Good morning. I speak to you now as one sent to stir your heart and steady your feet. The seasons are changing—what was hidden is being exposed—and the Lord is calling His people to rise. This is a reminder that the presence of the Lord is not dangerous; it is holy. If you honor it, it heals. If you trifle with it, trouble follows. I want to give clarity, instruction, and practical direction so you will not be caught off guard.

Why the chaos? Because light is revealing what’s been hidden

When darkness is exposed it panics. What looks like chaos is often the dying throes of an empire of sin—drug networks, trafficking rings, corrupt rulers—kicking against the light that has finally shone on them.

I have seen this happen on the ground and in the spirit. We acted in obedience two years ago to dislodge territorial strongholds in a particular place, and now the visible evidence is appearing. This is not coincidence. The war happens first in the heavens and then on earth. Expect pushback. Expect it to get personal. But do not be surprised. The Lord said He will shake everything that can be shaken so only His unshakable kingdom remains.

The call to rise: Arise and shine as a remnant

This is your instruction: arise. Let the light inside you burn. Refuse compromise. Refuse the cultural pressure to conform to darkness. You were never meant to fit in with every passing trend. You were deputized to be a light-bearer.

Practical spiritual posture

  • Abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Make Psalm 91 real over your life—declare it, speak it, let it sink into you as present truth.
  • Speak your faith out loud. Faith comes by hearing. When you declare the promises, you activate them in the spirit.
  • Respect the presence of God with reverence, not fear. Reverence strengthens you; fear paralyzes you.

Authority is real—use it

Jesus gave us authority. Think of it like being deputized: sheriffs and deputies arrest bad actors. You have legal spiritual authority to bind, to declare, to arrest demonic assignments operating against people and nations.

When you say with conviction, "I take authority over you in the name of Jesus," you are not playing make-believe. The angels are listening to the voice of faith. This is not mystical language meant to scare you; it is practical spiritual warfare:

  • Identify the stronghold—patterns of thought, words, and behavior that invited the enemy.
  • Break agreement with that stronghold by confessing truth and declaring covenant promises.
  • Command the demonic assignments to leave in Jesus' name. Lock them in prison spiritually and refuse them legal ground to return.

How to fortify your faith—daily habits that build a resilient remnant

Strong people are built by consistent, sometimes repetitive disciplines. I’ll be blunt: syrupy messages won’t prepare you. You need hard, honest habits that develop muscle memory in the spirit.

  • Daily Word and declaration: Read Scripture out loud. Turn promises into present-tense declarations over your life.
  • Short, regular prayer wars: Declare Psalm 91 and speak deliverance against fear, doubt, and anxiety.
  • Community accountability: Believers who will stand with you when the pressure comes.
  • Practical preparedness: Store food, basic water supplies, consider holding a portion of your savings outside the banking system—gold or silver if you can—so you are not surprised if credit systems get disrupted.

Expect deception—plan your spiritual defenses

We will see attempts to deceive on a massive scale. Technologies and narratives may be used to manufacture fear or false realities. You will hear talk of staged events, false invasions, alien narratives—be prepared in spirit. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. Your defense is not information alone; it is intimacy with the Lord.

How to respond

  1. Turn off noise that competes for your attention. The Lord will not compete with your scrolling and interruptions.
  2. Develop a steady rhythm of reading the Bible and responding to the still, small voice.
  3. If an alarming narrative surfaces, test it against Scripture before you accept it as truth.

Practical preparedness—what I do and recommend

I keep only what I need in day-to-day cash in the bank. The surplus is stewarded into durable assets and storable food. I have water jugs and canned staples stored. You don’t need to panic. You need to be sensible and wise. The financial system is fragile, and when credit markets strain, life can get more difficult. Prepare for a few weeks to a few months of disruption; it’s wise stewardship.

Fear has no place—send it away

Fear will paralyze a remnant. It gives legal ground to the enemy. When fear rises, name it, refuse it, and declare covenant truth. Use words to enforce spiritual boundary lines:

I refuse to be paralyzed. Fear, doubt, anxiety, leave in the name of Jesus. I stand under the shadow of the Almighty. It will not come near me.

Why repetition matters

Jesus taught by repetition. I’ll keep calling you to speak the same truths because the repetition tills the soil of your heart. Seed must fall into prepared ground to bear fruit. When you hear the same declarations and respond, you move the soil from hard-packed doubt to fertile faith.

Dispatching the hosts—your voice matters

We are in a voice-activated kingdom. If digital assistants listen and obey commands, how much more do the heavenly hosts respond to the authority of the child of God? You may not see angels or the spiritual effects immediately, but your words have power. Give the instruction and expect the response.

When the Lord gave me assignments—going to certain places, cleansing altars, praying over ground—the impact was not always immediate. Sometimes the answer takes months or years to show up in the physical. That does not mean the work was ineffective. Keep speaking and keep acting in obedience.

Final exhortation

This year the empire of evil will grow darker and more desperate, but the remnant will shine brighter. You are called to be that remnant. Stand firm, speak boldly, and prepare practically. You will not be left undefended when you anchor yourself in covenant truth and daily obedience.

Do not be passive. Be the light. Let your life be a declaration: the kingdom of God is unshakable and I am part of it. Speak that truth, live that truth, and the unseen will move on your behalf.

Blessings, Howard Olsen
