A Word for Canada (and -You): Look Again

December 22, 2025

Friends, I'm speaking to you today with a heart full of gratitude and urgency. We are close to the finish line of this year, and I believe with everything in me that how we finish 2025 will determine how we begin 2026 and the next season. This is not a pep talk. This is a prophetic call to live into who we already are: children of the Most High, seated in heavenly places with Christ, and authorized to speak change into our homes, our streets, and our nation.

Seated Where Victory Is Already Declared

Hear me: Jesus prayed that we would be kept, sanctified, and sent into the world. He did not pray for us to be evacuated out of the mess. He prayed for us to be kept in the Father’s name while remaining in the world. That statement shifts everything. You are not a helpless observer of history. You are a priest and a king, positioned in heaven and placed on earth to carry heaven’s authority.

Your identity matters more than your circumstances. When the pauper realizes he is a prince, his life changes. Likewise, when you understand you are seated with Christ, your posture shifts from fear to authority. The devil only has influence when you give it away by agreeing with fear, complaint, or confusion.

Speak Like You Mean It: Words Shape Reality

One of the central truths I keep returning to is this: the kingdom operates by the spoken word. God set up an original voice-activated kingdom. When you speak the promises of God, you release the energy it takes to bring order out of chaos.

  • Stop narrating the problem. If your confession is a play-by-play of the difficulty, the difficulty will keep growing. Speak the outcome you want. Call forth resurrection life where there seems to be death.
  • Speak solutions, not symptoms. Move from diagnosis to prognosis. Identify what is wrong, then prophesy the remedy God has shown you.
  • Use your authority. If something or someone is opposing God’s purposes, command it to go. You are seated above every principality and power when you walk in your identity.

Prophecy Rooted in Love, Not Accusation

True prophetic ministry begins with love. It does not start by tearing people or nations down. Prophecy that flows from accusation only magnifies the wound. But when we prophesy from a place of love, we begin to see not just the problem but the path God is inviting us to walk toward.

Pursue love. Ask God questions about your spouse, your workplace, and your city. Seek to understand what the Father is doing. Prophetic words should always carry a vision of restoration, not merely a checklist of faults. When the Church sees a nation through the redemptive lens of Jesus, strategies, solutions, and revival follow.

What a Renewed, Prophetic People Looks Like

Imagine a church that refuses to participate in fear. Imagine congregations that sing about God instead of singing about feelings, altars that are full because people encounter the greatness of God, and preachers who preach the supremacy of Christ instead of offering repeated moral pep talks.

That kind of environment changes everything. It breeds discipleship that leads to dominion. It produces believers who don’t come every week for deliverance as an end in itself, but who are becoming strong in the knowledge of God so that demonic footholds evaporate because the truth has replaced the lies.

Practical Steps to Finish Strong

  • Guard your mouth. Make the confession of your mouth match the promises of God. If you keep speaking defeat, defeat will have a foothold. Speak life.
  • Worship more, worry less. Worship reorients us to God’s majesty. When the church sings of God’s greatness, fear loses its grip.
  • Intercede with purpose. Pray with specific decrees that align with Scripture. Pray solutions and strategies, not just laments.
  • Unite. Stand with others who will not partner with fear. Corporate unity amplifies prophetic power.
  • Use your authority locally. Start on your street, your workplace, your family. Dominion is exercised person by person, jurisdiction by jurisdiction.

A Word About Nations: Leaders Rise and Fall by God’s Sovereignty

Do not be alarmed by political upheaval. God raises leaders up and brings them down. That is His prerogative. While human systems function, the final disposition of authority rests with the Lord. So when rulers appear contrary to God’s ways, don’t surrender to panic. Pray, proclaim, and act from your spiritual placement.

We are being invited into a season where increased darkness is a signal for the Church to rise, not hide. The increase of trouble can precede a great release of God’s power — an Exodus of revival and reformation. Our role is to plant churches at the gates of darkness, to sing, to pray, and to speak God’s kingdom into the atmosphere.

Finish Strong — A Final Exhortation

Finish this year with clarity about who you are. Stop rehearsing the headlines. Stop validating fear. Renew your mind in the greatness of God. Fall in love with the Father again so your words will come from affection, not accusation. When you do, the systems of the world will begin to align with heaven because you have opened your mouth and released heaven’s jurisdictional grace.

We will not leave this nation behind. We will declare, decree, and act until the Church is recognized as a force of restoration, justice, and righteousness. If you will stand with clarity and courage now, you will step into 2026 positioned to start well and finish strong.

Let us be a company who does not flee from darkness but who brings heaven to the darkest places. Stand in your identity. Speak the promises. Love the people. Prophesy solutions. Be the people who will freak people out — not because of spectacle, but because faith has come alive and people see hope where there was none.

God is not done. Keep looking. Keep declaring. Keep loving. Finish well. Finish strong.
