Consecration, Clarity, and a Wrecking Ball on Babylon

Good morning. I’m not coming with a crafted prophetic speech today — I’m coming with what the Spirit is pressing into my soul for you. We begin in Isaiah’s throne room and end with a call to practical faith: consecration, clarity, and response. If you feel overwhelmed by the chaos around you, this is a word to steady your soul and sharpen your focus.

Seeing God: Isaiah 6 and a Fresh Consecration

Isaiah stands in the throne room and everything trembles. The seraphim cry, “Holy, holy, holy,” the temple fills with smoke, and Isaiah’s first response is honesty: “I am done, I'm finished, it's over for me.” That reaction was not a defeat — it was the set-up for grace. One of the seraphim touches his lips with a burning coal; the filth is purged; consecration follows encounter.

Hear me: God is offering a fresh purifying touch. Stop living beneath your identity. You are not merely "a sinner saved by grace" in the way the enemy would have you believe. You are redeemed, touched, and set apart. A holy fire is falling to cleanse what comes out of our mouths and to lift us into a new level of sanctification.

Impossible Standards, Necessary Savior

Jesus and Paul together make the point: the law reveals how impossible true righteousness is for fallen humanity. Jesus raises the standard — higher than external compliance — and Paul confesses the internal struggle. This isn’t to shame; it’s to point to the need for the Savior.

The Lord doesn’t condemn the one who looks away in weakness; He touches the lip, gives power by the Spirit, and equips us to overcome. Consecration is not just condemnation of your failures; it’s a call to accept the cleansing and the power to change.

Jeremiah’s Letter: Build, Plant, Multiply, Pray

Jeremiah wrote to exiles with a simple, practical strategy: plant roots. Build homes. Plant gardens. Marry and multiply. Pray for the welfare of the city where you are. Why? Because the prosperity of the place where you live affects your prosperity.

This letter to those in exile is medicine for us now. We have many forms of captivity impinging upon us— economic, cultural, geopolitical, digital. Yet the Lord’s response is not to flee in fear but to occupy, to build, and to bless where He has placed you.

Practical Commands to Live By

  • Settle: plan to stay and put down roots; avoid the mental exile of constant escape.
  • Multiply: have children and raise families; the command to fill the earth is an act of faith against despair.
  • Pray for your city: the welfare of your nation matters; your prayers affect your own welfare.
  • Avoid prophetic noise: don’t curate your faith through a dozen pundits. Sit with God and let Him speak.

Contextual Clarity: What’s Really Shaking the Nations

There is a geopolitical story unfolding that many miss when they stare at the daily headlines. What looks like chaos on the surface is often the final dismantling of long-standing global control structures. The metaphor I keep seeing is a wrecking ball taken to Babylon — centuries-old systems losing their grip.

One concrete example: the dynamics around the Strait of Hormuz, maritime insurance, and global oil flows. When a single insurance market can choke an entire supply chain, you begin to see how financial levers have been used to control nations. When those levers get countered — for example by alternative insurance backing and naval escort — the entire apparatus is weakened.

Call it the blue serpent (British Imperial Control, Royalty, Empire) and the red dragon (China, CCP) working under the old empire label. The point is this: the deep state’s mechanisms are not invincible. They are crumbling, and God is orchestrating a reordering that will expose the tyranny and free many.

A Call to Sanity: Turn Off the Noise

The Lord spoke clearly through Jeremiah: do not let the prophets and fortune-tellers in Babylon trick you. In modern terms — quit scanning YouTube, TikTok, and the endless pundit feeds looking for prophetic certainty. There are wolves in sheep’s clothing, and the noise will steal your clarity.

Choose source over static. Sit in scripture. Pray. If you want direction, get it from the Lord in the quiet place — not from the amplification of panic and speculation.

The Next Window: Passover and a Prophetic Season

There is a prophetic rhythm on the calendar. Passover approaches — a season with biblical precedent for rescue and deliverance. What we are watching now has echoes of the exodus from Egypt and the return from Babylon. God promises restoration, provision, and a public unshackling.

Over the next three weeks, stay expectant. Keep your eyes fixed. Pray for peace for the nations, for the welfare of your city, and for families threatened by legislative moves that intend to silence truth.

How to Stand Right Now

  1. Receive consecration — let God touch your lips with holy fire.
  2. Stop consuming noise — curate your inputs and anchor on scripture.
  3. Pray for the peace and welfare of the place where you live.
  4. Act locally — build, plant, marry, multiply, and occupy the ground God has given you.
  5. Speak with purpose — declare the promises of God; your words carry spiritual weight.

Declarations to Carry

I declare: no weapon formed against you shall prosper. The counsel of the Lord stands; He is dismantling the old order. The Lord sees the plans of the nations — He laughs at their futile schemes — and He is installing a new order of freedom. If you pray, He will listen; if you seek Him with all your heart, you will find Him.

Closing Charge

We are in a season of shaking — not to destroy His people but to remove what usurps our identity and our call. Keep your eyes front and center on the Lion of Judah. Receive the coal on your lips. Plant your feet. Plant your gardens. Pray for the peace of the city. Prepare for a new exodus, and be ready to inherit the treasures that come with it.

Blessings, Howard Olsen
