This Is Not The End - It's The Beginning - Declare Your Victory

Oct 17, 2025 • 6 min read

I want to speak to you today as the one who stood before you in a season of discouragement and then let the Word of God, a song, and the Spirit reawaken my faith. This message comes from my time leading Declaration Church and Decree for Canada — a call to arms for your nation, your heart, your home, and your day. If you're tired, if you've been pouring out for years and feel like nothing's changing, then stay with me. This is not the end of your story. It is the beginning of a breakthrough.

When Discouragement Visits

I want to be honest with you: there are seasons when you can do everything right and still feel like you're shrinking instead of growing. I poured out encouragement, training, prayer, practical help. I watched others prosper and I stayed in the same soil for years. Some mornings I felt small, asking, “Lord, what gives? I need movement.”

But the truth I had to remind myself of — and what I want you to hold onto — is this line: This is not the end of the story; it is the beginning. Joseph could have stayed in prison. David could have collapsed under pressure. But they kept speaking truth over themselves and the Lord moved. We must do the same.

Encourage Yourself in the Lord — The David Pattern

David teaches us how to encourage ourselves. When the ropes of death, the floods of destruction, the traps of the grave surround us, David called out and reminded himself who God is. He spoke:

"Oh God, I love you. You are my strength. You are my rock. You are my fortress. You are my savior."

Those are not just scriptures to read once a year or to mumble in church. They are statements to build your shield of faith. When you speak divine truth out loud, you force a test: either you mean it, or you're lying with your lips. Most days we mean it — and that strengthens us. When we declare who God is, our faith rises and we can stand when the trial comes.

Psalm 18: Your Blueprint for Victory

This morning I felt God press Psalm 18 into my heart and tell me: “This is your script.” It’s almost a tactical manual. It contains declarations that move heaven to act on your behalf:

  • God is your rock, fortress, shield and deliverer.
  • He shoots arrows and scatters enemies; He answers in distress.
  • He delights in you; He rewards the righteous and rescues the humble.

Read it. Pray it. Decree it. These aren’t abstract promises; they’re operational commands you speak into your morning.

Declare, Don’t Just Hope

We live in an era of passive Christianity — sitting on pews, listening to encouragement, then going home and forgetting Monday morning at 8 a.m. Commanding your day is not spiritual bravado; it’s spiritual responsibility. Every morning carries fresh directives and decrees from heaven. If you don’t rise early to legislate the hours ahead, you will live under whatever others have spoken over you.

How to Command the Morning — Practical Decrees

Here’s a practical, repeatable pattern you can use every morning. Pick a Psalm, or use these declarations as a template, and speak them out loud. You are the prophet over your own life; when the prophet speaks, mountains must bow.

  • I decree and declare today I rise with power by the blood of Jesus.
  • I command the heavens to release my portion; I declare fresh mercy for my family, my work, my ministry, and my health.
  • I decree: no weapon formed against me will prosper. Every arrow fired against me boomerangs back to the sender.
  • Angels, move on my behalf. Fight for me. Recover and restore everything stolen or delayed.
  • I command the elements of my day to cooperate with my assignment. The sun favors me; the moon favors me; the earth yields its increase.

These declarations align your heart and your breath with what heaven has already said. They change the atmosphere. They are not about eloquence; it’s about authority.

Spiritual Warfare: Send Confusion, Fear, and Trauma Back

There is a time to deliver — not only to break demonic strongholds off the saints, but to command those spirits to seek dwelling places among those who stand against God. Yes, we break fear, trauma, and confusion off the body of Christ and we command them into the camps of the enemies. We do so in the authority of Jesus, knowing that God Himself deploys His arrows and lightning against the wicked on our behalf.

We called for confusion and fear to fall upon the enemy’s plans — the schemes, the secret treaties, and the legislations designed to restrict freedom. We are not cynical people; we are people of decree. We have a God who answers in time of distress. He scatters the plans of the wicked and honors the humble.

The Sean Story — Why You Must Say No

Let me tell you a story to make this practical. I once stood a big, burly man, Sean, in front of a church and played the role of fear. I charged him — and all he had to do was say a single word: “No.” When he didn’t resist, I literally knocked him down with a metaphorical tackle. The point was simple: Satan will test you. He’ll press until you say whether you mean it.

All it takes is a one-word refusal. Say, “No, I resist you, in Jesus’ name.” The experiment shows how little effort faith requires when it’s exercised. Satan uses everything he has, but your authority in Yeshua HaMashiach outranks him — even if your voice is soft. The power comes from the Name, not the volume.

Corporate Responsibility: Nation, Bills, and Sovereignty

Our decrees aren’t just private; they’re corporate. We prayed against legislation and treaties that violate liberty. In the chat I received confirmation that one bill was retracted after a season of concerted intercession. That’s not coincidence — that’s the fruit of corporate decree and righteous pressure.

We paint our nations with the blood of Jesus, calling for the angel of death to pass over the righteous and for God’s justice and revival to awaken the people. We command pipelines, grain, and the harvests of this land to flow — not for the sake of materialism, but so that the land’s wealth returns to God’s people and blesses the world through the Holy Spirit’s orchestration.

Testing Will Come — Stand Firm

When you decree, be ready for the test. Declarations will provoke opposition. The question is not whether you will be tested — it's whether you will stand. The enemy will send a trial to see if you really mean the words you speak. Resist. Remember: vengeance is the Lord’s. You stand, you declare, you do not avenge yourself — you let God act.

Practical Steps to Command Your Day

  1. Rise early — open a paper Bible, turn off notifications, and speak Scripture into your spirit.
  2. Pick a Psalm (Psalm 18, Psalm 91, Psalm 30) and read it aloud. Make it personal.
  3. Declare simple, specific decrees (safety, provision, healing, family peace, restoration).
  4. Assign angels by faith: ask them to recover, restore, and preserve.
  5. When opposition comes, say “No” once and stand. Use the name of Jesus and the authority given to you.
  6. Do this daily — consistency trains your spirit and readies you to act when the test arrives.

Final Exhortation — You’re a Destiny Child

Beloved, you are a destiny child. You’re written in God’s book. The time to execute your kingdom mandate is now. You were given instruction, tools, and an altar of practice. The decree for Canada — or for your own life — can't fight for you if you refuse to speak. The minute you exercise what you’ve been taught, the minute you decree, the minute you resist, you’ll experience victory — and that victory will fortify you for the next battle.

We have been given a blueprint, a voice, and an authority. Pick up your Bible; make the declarations; command the morning. Practice it on Saturday. Practice it on Sunday. Practice it on the busiest Tuesday at 4 p.m. Faith grows when it’s used.

I wasn't planning to preach this long today. I got up discouraged and God reminded me of His faithfulness. A song played in my earbuds: “I've just seen too much.” I remembered the healings, the deliverances, the miracles, and I repented of despair. If you've seen much too, let that memory shout louder than the doubt. Rise and decree.

We will continue to teach, to train, and to stand with you. But you must stand for yourself. The Lord has equipped you. He delights in you. He has put a destiny in your hands. Rise, command your morning, and watch what heaven does.
