Kingdom Perspective: Season Shift Is Here
2026-02-10 Good morning. Today I want to invite you to become the prophet of your own life — not in a distant, mystical way, but practically, every single day. The words you speak now determine the harvest you will reap tomorrow. Leave yesterday at the cross. Look up. Take hold of the choice God gives you this morning.
You are the prophet of your own life
There is a spiritual authority that rests on every believer to decree and to declare. Scripture says life and death are in the power of the tongue, and seed time and harvest will continue while the earth remains. This means what you say in the present shapes the future. I learned that long before I knew scripture in the corporate world. I would step into meetings and, before I even walked into the room, speak out favor and comprehension — anointing the atmosphere with words. You can do the same. You can prophesy your day toward the favored future God has for you.
The gift of tongues: speaking God’s language
Tongues are not random noise. They are a heavenly language given to us as a conduit for God’s perfect will. To your natural ear it may sound repetitive, like a baby gurgling the same sound over and over, but to the Father in heaven each utterance is precise and purposeful. When you let that gift out — even if you begin with simple syllables, “goo goo, ga ga,” or a hesitant whisper — you are releasing God’s will into your tomorrow.
Practical encouragement: if you’ve never done this, start small. Get your brain out of the way. Consider it like priming a stalled lawnmower: one stroke, then another. The more you practice, the freer and stronger the flow becomes. God knows the language; He will never contradict His own word, and what you release is aligned with His purposes.
Commanding the morning: declaration and daily strategy
There is a simple spiritual discipline I call "commanding the morning." It’s a hybrid of prayer, decree, and prophetic declaration designed to set the rhythm of your day and compel creation to respond on your behalf. The language is bold because the King has given you authority to legislate in the realm where heaven and earth meet.
Here are declaration themes you can speak over your day:
- Angelic assignment: command angels to preserve, fight for, deliver and restore your portion.
- Mercy renewed: declare Lamentations 3:23 — God’s mercies are new every morning.
- Protection: every plot, plan, arrow of sickness or loss is returned to sender or scattered by fire.
- Provision: work of your hands blessed; the devourer is rebuked; lack is broken.
- Family and children: homes secured, confusion and division nullified.
- Restoration: double restoration for trouble, recovery of what has been stolen.
- Kingdom advance: doors open that no devil can shut; your light cannot be hidden.
These are not empty words. They are legislative proclamations offered in faith. Use Scripture to back what you speak and believe for visible fruit.
Kingdom perspective: we are a reigning and ruling ecclesia
Understand the kingdom as concrete, not abstract. The kingdom of God is a territory — the earth — where God’s order, authority, and justice are to be established. Occupy means take and keep ground. We were given dominion in Genesis; Jesus showed us how to pray and act so heaven’s order would come into the earth.
When God's people begin to function as a governing body — obedient, bold, humble, and focused — cultural altitude changes. The salt and light influence the atmosphere. Remember, God no longer lives in an ark. He lives in you. When you carry His presence and speak His language, darkness cannot stand where His glory falls.
Warning: success without continued seeking leads to pride
Success is a dangerous place if you stop seeking God. Uzziah’s story in 2 Chronicles 26 is a clear warning: as long as a leader sought guidance from the Lord, the Lord gave success. When he became powerful and proud, he overstepped his assignment and suffered a downfall.
If the Lord has opened doors and given breakthroughs, don’t rest on yesterday’s laurels. Keep returning to the secret place. Seek the Lord daily. Allow counsel to guard your steps. The same favor that propels you can also expose weaknesses that pride will exploit unless you remain dependent on God.
Practical steps to command your morning
- Start with a date and a declaration: every morning speak a short, focused decree that names the day and calls down mercy and favor.
- Speak Scripture: use verses as your legal framework — Psalm 91, Isaiah 54, Lamentations 3:23, Colossians 2:14. Let them form your sentences.
- Exercise your tongues: relinquish intellectual control and allow Heaven’s language to come out. It’s a prophetic tool for destiny.
- Take a prophetic act: shake off the residue of yesterday — visualize chains falling, break them with a spoken decree.
- Establish an altar or threshold: a literal or symbolic place where you consecrate the day and covenant your choices to God.
- Seek counsel: ensure wise advisors help you navigate influence and opportunity. Multiple counselors bring safety.
A short declaration to say right now
“Father, this day I decree: Your mercy is new over me. Angels go before me; every plan of darkness is scattered. My steps are ordered, my home is secure, and my work of hands is blessed. I receive double restoration and grace that follows me everywhere. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
Move in faith — the season of shift is here
We have been through a sifting and a sorting, and now God is accelerating a shift. There will be pressure, exposure, and realignment. That is part of the healing process. When leaders rise and nations rededicate themselves to God, it awakens a movement. Keep your eyes on obedience, not on applause. The Lord honors those who honor Him. He will supply, arm, and clothe you beyond your expectations when you trust Him and move in obedience.
Let yesterday remain where it belongs. Take up the prophetic mantle over your morning every day. Speak life, legislate blessing, and watch God prove faithful. Rise, speak, and let the harvest begin.
