Today I want to talk plainly to you about authority, presence, and the practical way God has wired you to move in power. You were made in His image and likeness. That is not a cute phrase to tuck away in a Bible study—it's a declaration about identity, authority, and what happens when you open your mouth and speak the word of God back to yourself.
The Promise: Exceeding, Abundant Power
There is a promise that refuses to be minimized: God is able to do "exceedingly, abundantly, way beyond anything" you can ask, think, or imagine. Read that slowly and let it settle. This is not poetic fluff. It describes a power—dunamis—that operates in you when you align yourself with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word. The most potent way to hear it is to pick up the book, read it out loud, and let God speak through you as you speak it. He spoke the world into being; He invites you to speak the word he has given you and to watch what unfolds.
Enter the Gate: Thanksgiving Then Praise
There's a practical entry point into the fullness of God's presence: come in through the gate with thanksgiving, then move into the courts with praise. Thanksgiving is not a polite preface. It is the password that opens the door into the inner sanctum where His presence infuses you with strength, clarity, and supernatural authority.
Make thanksgiving an audible practice. Let praise follow. The sequence matters because thanksgiving aligns your heart and dismantles the spirit of fear. Praise then releases you into the power God wants to pour through you.
Warfare That Starts When You Pray
When you open your mouth in faith, your prayers are heard in the third heaven, and a war is triggered in the heavenly places. That war often shows up on earth as intensified darkness, but that darkness is not a sign that evil has won. It is the death throes of an enemy being exposed by the increasing light.
The angels are dispatched from the third heaven and must pass through the second heaven to reach our realm. Sometimes that movement pushes demonic powers into the first heaven—into visible, messy places—so that the people of God who know who they are can exercise the authority they've been given and put it under their feet.
Three Practical Realities
- Your prayers trigger warfare in the heavens. The moment you pray, you are not passive; you engage principalities and powers.
- Angels hearken to the king's command. God has called you to be a king and a priest. The host of heaven responds to your standing in that identity when you decree in faith.
- What you see on earth may intensify before it dissolves. Exposure is part of the process. The light is increasing; corruption is coming to the surface so it can be judged and removed.
Fear of Man vs Spirit of Power
God has not given you a spirit of fear. He has given you power. The fear of man will keep you small, apologetic, and compromised. But a spirit of power releases you from that bondage so you no longer trade truth for approval.
That freedom does not mean you stop caring about people. It means you will not sell out truth to gain their acceptance. Stand unapologetically for what God has revealed, and let the conviction of the Spirit correct you if you step out of bounds.
Authority Restored: You Are Made to Reign
Ecclesia is not a pew-and-pewter arrangement; it means the reigning and ruling assembly. Jesus restored the authority of the body of Christ. You are not a passive recipient of mercy alone—you are an active agent of dominion.
Think of it like this: God is the sheriff. You are the deputy. He has given you a badge, handcuffs, and authority over the neighborhood. A deputy who doubts his authority gets overrun. A deputy who knows what's in his belt acts with conviction and arrests the wrongdoer. Beloved, learn your authority. Use it.
Stories That Train Us
You will encounter seasons that feel like boot camp—times of betrayal, sickness, loss, and deep testing. Those seasons are not punishments but training grounds. They prepare your hands for war and your fingers for battle.
When God says, "remember the victories," he's asking you to look back on how he delivered you before so you can walk into future battles with confidence. He used your trials to make you fit for what lies ahead.
How to Live This Out Daily
- Speak Scripture out loud. Take God's promises and say them to yourself. Authority is released as you proclaim what He has already declared.
- Enter His gates with thanksgiving. Make gratitude your gateway. It changes the spiritual atmosphere around you.
- Praise audibly. Praise opens the inner courts. Be intentional and let your voice align with heaven.
- Stand without fear. Reject the spirit of man-pleasing. Walk in the mantle God has given you.
- Take communion often. Remember the body and blood—these are means to renew and re-power you in the victory already secured.
Final Encouragement
The days of Haman are ending. The old orders that have kept nations in spiritual and financial bondage are being dismantled. That does not mean it will be tidy or fast; it means God is at work on a level you cannot fully see. Keep decreeing, keep praising, and keep walking in the authority you've been given.
You are not alone in the fight. Angels have been assigned to you. The host of heaven will move at the king's command. Flip the switch, turn on your power, and operate in the image and likeness for which you were created.
Take Communion Now
If you have bread and juice, take them. If you do not, do it in spirit and faith. Remember: the body was broken so you could be whole; the blood was spilled so the record against you could be erased. Receive resurrection life now.
